We waited in the cold for like 20 mins before a waiter was available to seat us. Then we were told theres only seats outside. We then drank a coffee and a tea (each like 6 euros). A half sized piece of cake is around 6 euros as well. The taste was good but I had better for half the price. In conclusion: Too few waiters, everything far too expensive for the bad service and mediocre quality and quantity. EDIT after the owners answer: If you cannot serve the amount of customers that you say you do, then you should either employ more waiters or order your staff to reject customers at the door by giving them estimated waiting times instead of ignoring them entirely without giving any infos. Also there were enough free tables outside, just no waiters to serve them. While we waited in line not a single of your clearly very stressed and overworked waiters (which I did pity a lot) even made eye contact with any of the customers waiting in line for sometimes more than half an hour in the first spot in the queue. Never seen bad service like this neither in expensive nor cheaper places. Your place just appeared like a rip-off living off its monopoly location in the Palmengarten. And I stand by what I said about "half-pieces", me and another customer had a great laugh about the tiny 6 Euro cake which wasn't even a slice but a... cube? I just subtracted another star btw for your ridiculous answer which totally was what I'd expect from a place like yours.
