The egg fried rice with chicken was the best dinning experience I’ve ever had on a train. Before I tasted it, I had very little expectation and was just looking for something warm to eat on a cold wet day in the Frankfurt main station. The egg was freshly stir fried and the veggies were fresh and delicious, added with a salty sauce with black pepper flavor (I think it’s soy sauce based). The rice grains (though newly cooked) were fried properly that they didn’t stick together, the texture was on point! The most amazing part is the wok hay! You can’t imagine how excited I was to taste the soul of fried rice: wok hay! I nearly cried out of joy! The saltiness of the rice, the crunchiness of the vegetables and the wok hay just managed to perform together a harmonious symphony of fried rice in the Ruhebereich filled with crying babies and crazy old ladies of that ICE to Karlsruhe.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. I ordered the Wok vegetables in soy sauce, and it was ready within a minute. That immediately made me think it clearly wasn’t freshly prepared, despite what they advertise. When I received the plate, a nauseating smell came from it. I leaned in closer and noticed it smelled strange, nothing like soy sauce. I took a bite, thinking it might just be the smell, but no, it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever eaten in Frankfurt. Absolutely horrible. I felt like vomiting on the spot. I’m never eating here again. Definitely a potential case of food poisoning. I ultimately returned the dish back to the counter and complained of the smell, to which they replied "oh no, too bad".
