We got last minute reservations for dinner. This place was so great. It feels like entering a family home or hunting lodge. The portions were a bit too large to leave room for dessert. The cost was reasonable for a family of 4 eating adult meals we paid less than 100€...including drinks (beer, wine, soda, and water). The food was so delicious we couldnt stop eating! My oldest son got a "cart full of manure" which was a meat sampler piled into a small wooden wheelbarrow. The youngest got a steak with whiskey pepper sauce, that he devoured. My husband got a schnitzel sampler with 3 schnitzels that had 3 different sauces. He sadly couldnt finish all of it and is still disappointed. We are planning another vacation to Garmisch for next summer and will definitely be here again!

The ambience was good. The staff were very friendly, and they were willing to serve you with a smile ☺️ Since the menu is in Germany language so we were a bit hard to pick our food. All food came in a huge portion 😄 So it's more than enough. Just too bad that I ordered a wrong dish, it came different from what I thought. I think the BBQ chicken will be a moist and grilled bit it came like fried, served together with fries and cup of BBQ sauce. No salad as well with this dish. So I'm disappointed with my choice. Other than my dish were not so bad at all. Overall the taste are quite too salty for my preference but still ok. The price also not so expensive and they served you special shots of drink for free at the end of the meal 😊

If you are looking for a genuine Baverian Restaurant - here you are ! We booked 1 week before our visit. Definitely a family friendly restaurant, with good alternatives for picky eater kids… As starters you should try the cheese soup if you are into cheese. Also salad with goat cheese looked delicious but our hunger was at a higher level. We sticked to some basics as KäseSpätzle ( but with chicken and mushrooms) as well some very good cooked meats with potato. For kids we had Schnitzel and all happy 😅 Beer was good as expected 😀 Downside: they do not offer coffee. It was not mentioned during reservation but we were rushed to leave…

Erneuter Besuch eher "nein Danke". Eigentlich schade weil Ambiente super!

Decided to dine here due to the great reviews , my meal was great, my husband received the wrong meal and when we asked the waitress about the mistake (thinking they accidentally gave us another’s meal) she told us that she didn’t make a mistake and that we were wrong. My husband ate the meal that was served, food was great, just not what he ordered. The service is the main reason we are giving this one star. It was extremely obvious that the restaurant was understaffed and we were understanding of that but we never received drink refills and when we asked for the check it took 20 minutes to get the check and the people next to us asked for their check and left all during that time. Disappointed that we spend our last night visiting this wonderful area at this establishment. Overall, good food if you can handle the...
