As native Italian, I usually have thoughts if going to an Italian pizzeria abroad. You may expect some surprises with food. In this case, I wanted to give it a shot as I was curious about their pizza. This place is massive if compared to a standard restaurant and I have never seen so many guys as staff. I ordered a Gorgonzola Pizza with pears and walnuts and it was amazing. The dough was excellent. I loved the "cornice" around the pizza. Staff was also very friendly and we had some chat about Italy and the German language :-) After the pizza we wanted to try the espresso coffee, and it was as good as the one you get in Italy. Outside their premises they have tables and also an artificial garden with transparent balls where to eat inside, but the last option is reserved to groups who spend at least €150 total in their bill. Overall a great Italian culinary experience recommeded by an Italian.

Location 5/5 The place is nice, I like the fornitures, it is clean and the position is in really good. Menú 4/5 the pizzas have strange names but almost all of them are quite classic. I tried the pizza with mortadella and burrata, the topping is really good, the dough is not heavy because of the long leavening, but for my taste is not hydrated enough because it is not really alveolate inside, then it is easy and nice to eat but I personally prefear something with more hydratation. Staff and waiting 4/5 they are okay, maybe they need more people because I have waited a bit for my order, but everything is fine. Bill 4/5 the price is not really cheap but the place is quite fancy, it is in the city center then it is fine. I am italian and I think it is a nice place for having a good pizza. I suggest it especially if you want to have a really good pizza in the city center and to couples.

I was very excited when I heard about the opening of a new place in Hamburg that was promising me the pizza napoletana experience. As someone who ate the best pizze in napoli I am probably pretty critical so: First of all, the taste is good and authentic, good ingredients, dough tasty, nicely thin, not wobbly, not crunchy, tomatosauce also. The big BUT. Sure, you have to import the ingredients, I get that the prices have to be different than in italy, but you get a pretty small pizza, with a HUGE crust for double the price that you'd pay for a pizza double the size from da michele or similar in Naples. You will never see the plate there. Half of the pizza is crust and if I would like to eat only crust (that most Italians even mostly leave on the plate) I would order pizza bread. Also selling a crodino, which is basically a lemonade for 7 euros.. common. Maybe it was because the place just opened, but the service was unorganized and 40 minutes of waiting for a pizza that literally bakes 60 seconds is unbearable in my opinion. Talking about the place I have to say that it's pretty, modern, everything is aesthetically pleasing, but if you're looking for the Italian restaurant vibes, you won't find them here. In my opinion a can, but not a must.

The food was good, but unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. Many of the staff were rude and far from hospitable, and they seemed to be understaffed, which made the experience worse. We visited on a busy Saturday night, and one particular incident stood out: one of our friends wanted to change her pizza order literally seconds after placing it, while the waiter was still at our table taking the rest of our orders. He flatly refused, claiming the order had already been sent to the kitchen, despite still being right next to us. It felt unreasonable and frustrating since it could have been easily adjusted. Additionally, the person managing reservations at the entrance was very dismissive. He didn’t bother standing up or even properly addressing us as we were speaking to him, which came across as incredibly impolite. Overall, the poor service overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable meal. Not sure if i would visit again to be honest , many other pizza places in Hamburg. Maybe after they manage their staff

The atmosphere and location are nice. The staff is nice, although they forgot to fulfill a request I made. I ordered the gamba zamba pizza, burrata salad and a homemade drink. The drink was good, not too sweet. The salad and the pizza were not salted properly though. The salad problem was fixed easily when I salted it. The pizza posed a bigger problem, because it, the shrimps AND the sauce not only seemed unsalted but also flavorless. The sauce also tasted like it came straight out of a can. Nonetheless I was a big fan of the dough, but one must really like doughy crusts. It was honestly a bit of a let down, regarding the hype. All over the pizza was okay. I payed around 35€. The prices are fair regarding the location, but one would expect higher quality. I would honestly not come back and rather go to a different restaurant where quality is guaranteed.

I've gone here on two seperate occasions so far, we went and got dinner this time around. It was unbelievably busy and we were told that we can stay 90 minutes with our reservation. It was fine with the both of us, however it took a really long time until we got our food. The servers were super nice about it, but it took a long time regardless. (about 45 minutes) We also noticed that a table that came after us got their food first, so we were a little confused. The pizzas are good though, though like some have mentioned here, the crust is thick and the base of the pizza really thin, so the toppings slide off of the pizza very often. Regardless of that though they're very yummy, I recommend the seasonal saffron shrimp pizza that is available November and December :) (second picture)
