I’m usually not the kind of person leaving negative comments on restaurants as I love food and I always appreciate it. However, as an Italian, I have to be honest considering here we are talking about my own food traditions. This is definitely NOT an Italian place and authentic Italian food is VERY FAR from what they are serving. The Pasta was extremely overcooked, salt inexistent, the « pesto » was probably a ready-made from the supermarket (even Barilla could be more tasty). I also tried the other pasta my friends ordered (I thought maybe it’s mine) and all were equally bad. Even worse, I didn’t mention the price, 20€ for a “pasta al pesto”. On top, they have very expensive wine options although quality doesn’t justify it and service is fully inadequate. Serving a warm Prosecco in Champagne glasses is something I cannot accept. When we told the waitress the wine was warm, she said that this was impossible, that the wine was in the fridge... The “Taglieri” are the only dishes I would save, I had better ones in my life but I can’t complain. Don’t get trapped like I did due to the top rated reviews and “instagrammable” pics on Google, there are definitely better quality/service and more authentic Italian...

A great place to visit no matter if you’re a local resident or tourist! But, I strongly recommend booking a table in advance, because I was there with my friends on Monday evening and the place was absolutely backed, nobody could have gotten a table without reservation after 17:00. Very pleasant ambience, food was amazing, even though we couldn’t get Lasagna and Carbonara because of issues with logistics, we were offered several alternatives and were happy about it. It was very busy and at first it was quite clear that there is not enough staff, but then we noticed another staff member joined, so I applaud such a quick ability to adapt to sudden change in the business of the restaurant. All in all, a great place to visit and I am glad I saw a recommendation on instagram to visit this place! I am definitely going back. Edit: I also had a lunch there, and though it was absolutely delicious (meatball pasta with amazing ricotta)I definitely recommend to order to-go in advance, as the place is still as packed and for an hour lunch-break you will be stuffing the pasta in your mouth without having the possibility to enjoy it. Which makes sense, but sense was not with me on that day- and you...

The food was subpar and extremely overpriced.

We tried three different pasta dishes, and I had the pistacio pasta with burrata. Please note that the burrata is 6€ on top of the 21€ for the dish, which is far too much considering they only cost 2-3€ and the dish was clearly made with the expectation you would buy it.

The pasta was overcooked and mushy. The pistacio sauce was weirdly bitter, like it was burnt, and contained fragments of pistacio shell. Don't buy it if you have weak teeth.

Overall it was interesting for a few bites, but the portion was enormous, likely to defend the high price, and I was gagging at the overbearing taste by the end. There was no salad to break the monotony of the bitter overcooked pasta dish, only a few pomegranate seeds. It needed at least 5 times as much pomegranate to make a real difference though.

After our meal we were even more tired and in a hurry to get back to our hotel, so we missed that they added a 20% tip to our order without telling us, so be aware of that! It increased the price of my meal to 30€, without drinks, for something which shouldn't have cost...

Visited in September 2021. Impressed by their ads on some accounts in Hamburg, I decided to give this restaurant a try but was immensely disappointed. We ordered 2 latte macchiato. Both had bad milk in it. Luckily we spotted the weird milk cloud and didn't drink much. The lady came immediately when we signaled and made new drinks for us, but no apology. The new coffee tasted ordinary. The pasta with tomato sauce was so bland. No deep flavor even when there is meat in it. The sauce was also very loose and didn't stick much to the pasta and lasagna. It is a shame to offer this in an Italian restaurant. The panini is ok, but overpriced for what is in it. And as you can tell from the photos, ruccola everywhere .... Seating outside is quite nice on a sunny day. Inside is a bit too dark and has Imbiss vibe to it. I think this place is only good when you want to have a plate of cold cuts with your apetivito. Absolutely not recommended for hot dishes, especially anything to do with tomato sauce. I'm still angry thinking back about that bland tomato sauce.

Vorweg: Super geiler Laden! Wohlfühloase in „Italien“🇮🇹🤙🏻
