Loved this place!! Our new favorite Vietnamese Restaurant! Here's why... Clean and fresh ambiance! Tables were bright white and clean, the restaurant was clean. Menu board was bright, and the menu books were clean and had lots of pictures. They offered an English menu. Server was very polite and nice. She spoke perfect English and helped us choose dishes to our preferences. They adjusted the menu items to please our children's tastes. Food was fresh & tasted delicious. -The Nem Thit Ran (fried egg rolls) were homemade and delicious! My favorite in Hamburg! -Goi Con with Shrimp (spring rolls) were also homemade and delicious! Fresh! -Bun Bo Hue (SPICY noodle soup) was top! The brisket was cooked perfectly & the spice was prevalent but not numbing! -Pho was really good too! You can tell the beef broth is slow cooked for a long time as the flavors are developed and balanced. -They made shrimp fried rice for us and it was the best we've had in Hamburg! Perfect crust on the rice and the shrimp were cooked perfectly! -Chuoi Chien was something new for us and it was amazing!

We will definitely...

1st visit/experience was fine, but 2nd one was a Bad experience, literally left a bad taste in my mouth. Ordered ingwer tee(priced 3.90 euro), and got a lazily made tee without any lemon slice. When I pointed that out, service argued but agreed to add a slice of lemon. Now they served me tee but with thickly concentrated/sour taste. I could just take a few sips and didn't bother further to finish it. I guess the cook/chef got annoyed with my initial request and deliberately messed up the drink. And I guess it needs gr8 skills to mess-up ingwer tee. Congrats!!! Anyway long story short, restaurant just lost a potentially...

2nd visit for soup was very disappointing, no meat no spice no veg, but the others dishes seemed better. Maybe stick with those.

I went with the Bun Bo Hue, and it was a perfect mix of spicy and sweet. The broth was great, and the quality of the meat was good. They don’t overload the bowl with noddles, there is plenty broth to savor, and that’s how it should be.

I don’t think the brightly lit menu does the food justice, it’s a reference but you should just order and see. It would be great if they did some good bahn mi. They are so much better than what’s available,...

You can find authentic vietnamese cuisine here. I had the Nem Thit Rán for starters. It’s fried rice-paper rolls filled with ground beef and vegetables with Lime-Chili-Dressing and later the Bánh Choi for dessert. It is banana in a rice coat with peanuts and black beans in a salty coconut sauce. For a European it is unusual at first, because we are not used to salty desserts, but it was delicious.
