Joe & The Juice — Restaurant in Hamburg

We were excited to try this store despite poor customer reviews. Unfortunately, reviews are real. If possible negative stars. 1. Was suppose to dine in but store is dirty. The wooden fork given to us has a green mold in the tip. Though they changed it when i asked. Tables not cleaned. 2. Lack staff. Only 2 in a busy morning. The staff who accepted our cash payment prepared the order of other customers without changing her gloves or washing her hands. 3. Served us 2 burned sandwiches. It was our first time here so I checked other pictures here if it was really supposed to be burnt however not. Sandwich was more like a burnt bitter crunchy cracker. 4. Ordered to go yet our 2 sandwiches and carrot cake was only wrapped by tissued, needed to ask for paperbag. We are willing to pay money for clean and good quality food. Carrot cake was so bad. Very disappointed. How could you go wrong with carrot cake. Not worth the money...

I was really looking forward to trying their tuna sandwich and even drove all the way from Hanover to Hamburg just for it. I arrived at 18:00 — a full hour before closing — only to be told that they couldn’t make one because it was “too late.” Instead, they suggested I go to another store.

What made this even more disappointing was that I am pregnant and was seriously craving that sandwich. Driving all that way, only to leave empty-handed, felt really frustrating and unkind, especially given the circumstances.

A place that promotes feeling good should treat its customers with a bit more understanding and flexibility — especially when they are clearly willing to make an effort just to come visit. Extremely...

Sorry but why have I never had a good costumer experience here…Everyone can have a bad day but this happens everytime. Today toped that for sure. My friend ordered an iced matcha and received a hot one. She nicely asked for a cup of ice to fill her hot Matcha in there to get it iced. Mind the fact that the barista mixed up her drink. She than said nothing, got the iced and walked off. She had the worst rbf that I have ever seen. And she has the same expression every time. Not sure why she is still working there but terrible experience and terrible service form the super blond female...
