We spotted this restaurant during the Westfield opening and decided to come here for lunch today. We havenât checked any reviews and were very excited to eat there. Restaurant looks very pretty, design is really nice and also food serving looks beautiful. But these are unfortunately the only positive things about this place⊠First of all forget about having lunch there if your lunch break is about 1h. We waited for our food over than 40 minutes and then about 15 min to pay for our bill (we even stood up and went to the desk as we were already really in a rush). I canât say if stuff was friendly or not, they mostly looked lost or they ignored us, so we got impression that they are not experienced enough. As for food well⊠I took red curry, it had aubergines in it, which were basically raw. But overall was just ok. Oh yes and âdetox drinkâ which comes with the lunch menu is a sparkling water in tiny glass with cucumber and lemon. What a shame. If you choose any Thai take away around the corner you would have a better experience, than at this restaurant. I hope you read comments and take into consideration client reviews! I really wish for...
Read moreWe came here looking for dinner for two. On a rainy Sunday evening we were quickly shown to a table near the window. Service was friendly. It took quite a while for them to come back to our table after handing us the menus.
The food and drinks arrived after a while. I had the Bangkok Breeze lemonade, which was way too sweet for me. It needed topping up with a lot of water and ice to make it enjoyable for me. The green mocktail was refreshing and tasty. Food arrived after that, it was zingy and tasty. Tom Yum Kung and the shrimp in dough were good. I especially liked the Larb Gai, which was not too spicy - I ordered it with little heat. The red curry with salmon was also very good.
I am not too fond of businesses offering rewards for five star reviews, because it tends to skew the reviews, but in this case the restaurant is pretty good! I...
Read moreIt was my first visit to the "Sabai Dee Mai", not planned, didn't know anything about the place. I very quickly got a mango salad and a veggie burger after ordering. Meanwhile, I enjoyed the modern interior.
The salad was good! Not hot as I requested, but good.
The veggie burger though, well. It was served in a bowl, leaving me guessing how to eat it. The bun was filled with a third (or quarter) of a Beyond meat patty, a couple of slices of cucumber, very little chili slices, some mayo stripes and a sauce that rather reminded me of mayonaise than a coconut sauce as advertized. Paid close to 10 Euros. Not my type of burger. I'd definitely not recommend it.
Overall, I doubt that I'll visit again. The visit wasn't bad, but not worth...
