Saymai Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Hamburg

Visited the place with a colleague for quick dinner. The restaurant is located close to convention centre (15 mins walk).

The atmosphere is nice and there is indoor and outdoor seating area. We visited on wrong time as the owner had its own party at the restaurant so one did not get full attention.

Auf Empfehlung einer Freundin bin ich in das Restaurant gegangen. Meine Freundin sagte mir „wenn du unvergleichlich essen willst, gehe ins Saymai Thai“. Ich folgte ihrem Rat und mit knappen Worten: das Essen ist wahrlich unvergleichlich und authentisch. Ich habe in Deutschland in vielen Thai Restaurants gegessen, aber das Essen ist dort einmalig. Die Bedienung ist authentisch und freundlich und das Ambiente ist wunderschön. Ich bin begeistert und kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Die Gerichte haben mich aufgrund des intensiven Geschmacks, der frischen Zutaten und aufgrund des vielseitigen Angebots begeistert.

Eine persönliche Gerichtempfehlung fällt mir aktuell schwer, da ich aufgrund der Diversität der Thai Küche grundsätzlich immer es mir schwerfällt. Mein Indikator für ein gutes Thai Restaurant ist in der Regel der Salat für die Mitte zum Teilen/ als Beilage „Laab Nua (Rind)“. Diese Bestellung ist leider nicht auf der Karte, aber einfach der Bedingung Bescheid geben….Man fühlt sich wie in Thailand. :)
