My significant other had a steak and stilton pie (if I remember correctly) and said that it was "the best pie he`s ever had" - much to my dismay, as I have been making pies for years lol.
Somebody else mentioned this place not being what they expected and I get it - the place is kind of tiny inside and the food menu is actually quite small! But I put that down to me not reading the description for this place properly - it is a pub that focuses primarily on showcasing some delicious beers.

Read moreIt's not what I expected looking at the photos. It's much smaller and the tables inside aren't super comfy as they always seem to be in the way for people moving around. The outside did seem a little nicer but again it's only a few tables. The beers themselves are impressive and they have a very nice collection and tasting guides, so if you're coming just for the beer it's worth it. The food is another matter, I couldn't justify paying 12 quid for a tiny pie and fries, but that's the only substantial thing on the menu. So yeah, pretty good to try some nice craft beers...
Read moreThe story of the baby goat is amazing! Chris and Thomas are two great guys bringing their love and knowledge of beer to Hamburg. Although the food menu is not huge, what they offer is really tasty and goes perfectly with their selection of own brewed beers. The pub also has a great relationship with the pizza restaurant next door meaning there is the option to order from there while sitting and enjoying the amazing beers from the baby goat if you fancy something more substantial. Im looking forward to seeing how the pub grows as they bring out more...
