Thomas Read Irish Pub — Restaurant in Hamburg

The drinks are a little expensive but still good compared to some other clubs, they have nice nachos (Doritos actually) served with cheese or salsa for only 2€ which I definitely recommend. It would be good if they had an option of vegan cheese for the nachos.

They have many cocktails,beers and also cider which I found very nice, the selection was good. They also have a Jäger bomb 6cl for 3.5€ which to me is a really good price. It would be good if the live music started a little earlier around 21 as now it's from 22.15 and later the club opens downstairs. The entry is 7€ but if you go early by 21.30 or before it's free (not very sure but I think). Unfortunately when we went the club below was very empty and not lively, perhaps we were early.

Very good place, except DJ Roby Rob, easily one of the worst Djs you will ever hear. If anyone not friendly or related to him thinks otherwise, I would like to hear your thoughts. No song played more than halfway, totally out of mood breaks to talk monologues to the audience, choses quite litteraly the worst remixes there are for songs that are usually so good, one actually has to try to ruin them... and the list goes on. (If u want more elaboration on the many ways he sucks, ask.) I asked many other people when he performed, an absolute uniform vote to leave the otherwise very nice venue, when he plays. Dieser Irish Pub ist für mich ein kleiner Geheimtipp, wer gerne ordentlich feiern möchte. Das tolle an dem Thomas Read Pub ist, dass er so vielseitig ist. Es gibt den Teil, der wie ein typischer Pub ist mit Sitzecken, einem langen Tisch mit Barhockern und eine riesige Bar. Die Getränke holt man sich an der Bar und bezahlt gleich. Desweiteren gibt es in dem Bereich Live-Musik und in den Pausen legt ein DJ auf und sorgt ordentlich für Stimmung. Ist einem das zu soft kann man eine Etage weiter nach unten gehen, da gibt es übrigens die Garderobe und es treten unten noch andere live-acts auf. Bei meinem Besuch waren es Freitag und Samstag Rockbands. Abgetrennt von dem Eingangsbereich, wo ab 22 Sicherheitskontrollen durchgeführt werden ist eine Art Terrasse bzw Raucherbereich. Von da aus führt eine Treppe nach unten zu so einer Art beachbar Location ( ist was für die wärmeren Nächte). Und von da aus kommt man in einen kleinen Club. Die Musik ist super und es macht richtig Spaß. Wer ausgelassen tanzen und feiern möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Man bezahlt erst ab 22 Uhr Eintritt (5€). 5€ die sich alle Male lohnen. Ich bin mehr als begeistert von diesem Konzept. Ich hatte zwei ganz wundervolle Abende da.

Das Personal ist übrigens sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und geht auf die Extrawünsche der Gäste ein. Die Preise für die Getränke sind voll ok.

Also liebes Thomas Read Team macht weiter so. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Hamburg, komme ich mit dem größten Vergnügen wieder bei...
