I recently dined at Gaststätte Knossos in Heidelberg, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding, with the staff being both respectful and friendly, making me feel very welcome.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the grill and meat dishes. The flavors were authentic and delicious. Additionally, their salads were fresh, vibrant, and a perfect complement to the main courses.

The restaurant was impeccably clean, which added to the overall pleasant dining experience. Despite being centrally located, the atmosphere was remarkably quiet, allowing for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.

One more thing worth mentioning is the pricing. Compared to other Greek restaurants in the area, Gaststätte Knossos offers very good value for money, making it an even more attractive option for a great dining experience.

I had the pleasure of dining at this Greek restaurant during my time in Heidelberg, and I can honestly say it was the best food I’ve had here. The staff were incredibly attentive, patient, and understanding, especially given the language barrier. Their kindness made the experience even more enjoyable.

Now, about the food — it was absolutely incredible! The lamb cutlets and potatoes were by far the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. Every bite was full of flavor, and the quality of the dishes was top-notch. I truly can’t recommend it enough.

Refused entrance to this restaurant by what I can only describe as a very horrible person. We were refused entry as the waiter said the restaurant was apparently "fully booked", however there was ample space in the restaurant. We then asked to be seated outside where every seat was available, she then said, we can't as it was "too cold'. 3 out of the 4 of us happened to be people of colour so we have every reason to believe this was racially motivated. Wouldn't recommend this place at all to anyone, there are better Italian restaurants around that area with actual decent humans...
