This is the 1st time my wife and I come here to eat at this restaurant. Right away upon entering, it's like being transported to Italy! The atmosphere has a definite Italian charm. Love it! We were greeted right away, and we're given the option of where to sit. So, luckily we did not need a reservation( we went there at around 12:20). The menu was in Italian /German and had a nice decent selection of items for your taste buds. I went out of my comfort zone and ordered the macaroni four cheese and my wife a cheese pizza and a basic salad. Let me tell you, the food was DELICIOUS! My noddles were not shy on the cheese sauce, and the portion was just right, in my opinion. To me, the cheese pizzas are pretty boring, but my wife gave me a piece to try. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised☺️ Now to what some of you are waiting for; the price range for some of the items on the menu as far as noodles and pasta dishes are concerned, they ranged between €10-€15 on average. So, it's not bad in today's economy. Anyway, this whole time, I forgot I was in Germany. This restaurant is worth going to. If your in Heidelberg, I recommend you come here for lunch or dinner. It's the next best thing to actually be eating...
Read moreShocking experience and food not nearly living up to our expectations. We initially asked for a bottle of San Pellegrino mineral water, but we were served an open bottle of San Pellegrino, refilled with another type of mineral water. We ordered a pizza and ravioli: the ravioli were insanely salty and very hard to digest; the pizza had clearly been defrosted in a microwave and heated up. After complaining for the quality of our meal, our waitress tried compensating by offering us dessert, which we declined, given our previous experience. When we asked the cheque, we realised they hadn’t even removed the fake San Pellegrino. I would strongly recommend...
Read moreA great place to be if you love authentic Italian cuisine. Quality food, good taste, ample varieties for vegetarians as I just found the deserts a bit on the costlier side and the portion size a bit small when compared to the prize but once a while you can compromise that on the taste. So we ordered two pizzas (salmon and egg) and the desert was panacota (amazing 😍). A special shout out to the Italian lady who was serving there was very cheerful and happily helping all our queries regarding the menu. So a decent place and cozy ambience a must go for...
