cozy place, mediocre coffee. unbelievably rude staff. we were studying and my friend got a biscuit out of her bag and ate it quickly. staff came to warn us, and we acknowledged it was rude and apologized. then the staff went on and on about how the place "wasn't a library" when we had already ordered tons of stuff beforehand, and had only been sitting there for an hour and a half. then, they said they needed the extra chair we had our bags on, and they put it to a table (where only 1 person was sitting) next to 5-6 other empty chairs (no one came there afterwards, we checked) and then 10 minutes after these, they said they needed our table and asked us to move. we said OK, but then they asked us, 3 people, to sit in 3 different one-person places far away from each other. then we asked why they needed the table, they told us a 4-person group was coming, so apparently they needed to make a 3-person group leave :D unbelievable. because my friend really quickly ate one single thing, for which we sincerely apologized, they tried to bother us until we left. i was a frequent customer, but...

Die Kaffees waren nicht gut – für qualitativ hochwertigen Kaffee würde ich diesen Ort nicht wählen. Außerdem sind die Preise unnötig hoch. Sie behaupten, studentenfreundlich zu sein, aber das stimmt nicht. Besonders wenn Sie Student sind, sollten Sie diesen Ort meiden. Meiner Meinung nach sind die Mitarbeiter nicht besonders freundlich, die Sitze sind unbequem, und insgesamt hat es mir hier gar nicht gefallen. In Karlsruhe gibt es deutlich bessere Cafés.

Ich war insgesamt nur drei Mal in meinem Leben bei Ihnen: einmal im Jahr 2023 und zweimal im Jahr 2025. Bei meinen vorherigen Besuchen habe ich draußen gesessen, jeweils etwa eine Stunde lang einen Kaffee getrunken und bin dann gegangen.

Heute kam ich um 12:50 Uhr, um im Innenbereich an einem Tisch einen Kaffee zu trinken und zu lernen. Ich bin nicht zum Essen gegangen, das ist eine komplette Lüge. Um 15:20 Uhr kamen Sie zu mir und forderten mich auf, den Platz zu verlassen – obwohl andere Gäste, die vor mir gekommen waren und ebenfalls nichts weiter bestellt hatten, bleiben durften. Sie haben jedoch mich und meine Freunde gezielt aufgefordert zu gehen (es ist offensichtlich, dass dies aus rassistischen Gründen geschah).

Um sich im Recht darzustellen, behaupten Sie, ich sei zum Dönerladen gegangen, hätte meine Sachen dagelassen und den Tisch blockiert. Das stimmt überhaupt nicht, und ich kann alles beweisen. Dass wir ein mitgebrachtes Getränk dabeihatten, mag nicht richtig gewesen sein, aber Sie hätten uns einfach freundlich darauf hinweisen können. Es war nicht nötig, uns deswegen wegzuschicken.

There's quite a wide range of cakes, drinks and even some savoury snacks if you want to have breakfast there. 🥐 Here you can find a nice croissant (one of the only decent ones in Karlsruhe) All is vegan except if you choose to put cow milk in your drink.

The place is beautiful, quiet, with lots of plants, and the employees are nice. What I like best is finding a spot in the sun and eat a croissant (or to chill in the sofas).
