A good location with a nice view of the city across the water with boats moored there. The food was reasonable but not very interesting, with the exception of the steak tartare starter, which was great. The service really let them down, however. We had made a reservation for 8, and arrived at 7.55. We arrived in the restaurant and were ignored by the waiting staff until we approached the bar and announced our arrival. We were told to sit anywhere we like, so we said we would choose a table outside. We then sat at our table for 20 minutes while one server (who was not covering his nose with his mask) repeatedly walked past our table and we desperately tried to get his attention. Another server then came and asked if we had made a reservation, so we explained that yes, and we were waiting for a menu. The menus arrived, we ordered some aperitifs and food, and the drinks and food arrived shortly afterwards. I ordered a beer to go with my starter and that also arrived promptly. Having finished our starters, we waited and waited for the plates to be cleared and our mains to arrive. The same waiter with the mask worn under his nose passed our table several times but seemed oblivious. Eventually I went to the bar again and asked if our food was coming, which prompted them to start cooking it, as just under 10 minutes later it arrived. I ordered another beer to drink with the main course when the food arrived. We had finished the main and were sat, now being eaten alive by insects as it was getting dusky, and the beer never came, so I asked for the cheque. I was then surprised to get a beer for free and drank it, delaying the cheque even further. My wife and I were not dressed for the evening and it was getting very cold, too. The manager came out and apologised for the delay of our main course, which we accepted, but he did not seem to be aware of the other times we bad been forgotten about. Two other tables near us had similar complaints. In total, we had been completely forgotten about three times in one meal, when there were perhaps only 8 tables being used in the whole place: when we arrived, when we wanted our main course and when we ordered a beer. The waiting staff sorely need to be...
Read moreOverall beautiful Restaurant with very attentive service at the port. It can be recommend. We had a curry soup with Maracuja and small shrimp's, interesting flavors nice presentation and consistency for my taste i can imagine they used Maracuja pulp that took the acidity but made it kind of sweet. The pasta with shrimps was overall good. The sea-trout was very well cooked the risotto with it tasty but overcooked and the horseradish foam to much and not strong enough, but well presented dish. The plaice with bacon strips was very well in taste and cooking pity the roasted potatoes where a bit without love and tasteless. The octopus dish was good, the octopus itself very well cooked and excellent taste, the salad was also very good, the ajoli pity not the punch you would expect and the slice of roasted bread unnecessary. Dessert the cream brulee with bay leaf ice cream was excellent. Overall a nice evening good drinks a bill of 150 euro for 4 person. The restaurant was full full on a Tuesday! Have that in mind and hope you enjoy as...
