McDonald's — Restaurant in Leipzig

Actually 0 stars out of 5. This is the worst McDonald's location I ever went to. Many customers like myself, who wanted to use the restroom, had no idea how to access said restroom. After asking one staff member, we were informed that all customers, who wanted to use the restroom have to ring a bell in order to get access... After ringing many times, the restroom door was still shut, so we went and asked for help. The staff member only said "Ring again.". We tried again many times but the door just didn't open. So we had to go down and ask the staff again. All staff members were standing in a circle and chatting with each other - OBVIOUSLY NOT WORKING - when we went down. We politely asked the staff, if one member could come up upstairs and help us to get inside the restroom. One staff member immediately rudely said "No.". So after asking for help for the 3rd time - we received a "No."?! Where is the damn customer service, that is part of their job?! After insisting of needing help, one staff member finally said that she would help us and open the door... This was a humiliating experience when considering that "using the restroom" is one of the basic human rights here in Germany. And the restroom itself was also bad. The air inside was unbearable! It was hot and it smelled really bad. No ventilation system. Just 2 small cabins with toilets, that had no real toilet seat (like the older models of plane toilets). Never going back to this place.

(I'm German and talked to the staff members in German, but for the sake of world wide tourists, I decided to write this review...

Me and my friends put in an order to-go, left for 10 minutes and when we came back I went up to the staff to ask if it was ready since my order number wasn't on the screen anymore.

A staff member(female) looked for my order and when she couldn’t find it called for the manager(male, older, bald). The manager was INCREDIBLY rude and told me that he had personally sat there with my order for 20min and nobody came to pick it up. He repeated this fact to me multiple times even though I showed him on my phone that I had paid for the order less than 20min ago, and since it also takes them time to make the meals it can’t be possible that the order was waiting on the counter for 20min. He made the food again for me and I got my meal but the attitude was appalling and the whole situation confusing. Am I not allowed to leave the store for a moment and then come back to pick up my food? After its been 10minutes and the customer isnt there you just (assumably) eat their food and then tell them its their fault?...

Seems to be that they prepare everything in advance and give it while someone orders it. Because I order decaffeinated coffee and get for sure not decaffeinated coffee which was quite warm but not hot as it should be… and unfortunately I’ve noticed it only when I was in the train 🙃 Very good location and no one can come and complain about anything because everyone just left somewhere far away from this train station.

So I guess if you order here, exactly at this place, - you have to be aware that they don’t serve as other McDonalds do. Very sad that owners don’t give a toss about how all it works

Better to go to kfc which is literally...
