XOXO Café & Bar — Restaurant in Leipzig

I visited this cafe / breakfast 1 week ago and I have to say the service was really disappointed ( probably because there was only 1 man there alone ) . As I greeted the this person he didn't even reply smiled or said anything , he barely heard my order ignored me and receive the doppelt espresso macchiato not in a cup nut in a glass that someone would put latte macchiato, I thought ok no problem as long as the coffee taste good it doesn't matter. Then the barista/cashier grabbed it from the top with his finger where I was supposed to drink and he slid to me like I was in a Western bar in the 1800s. I mean I get people having a bad at work and this person looked like he had a bad day but was doing nothing to make it better. After that, I sat down to “enjoy” my coffee because the place was not that full and the atmosphere was quiet, every time this person was getting an order to make a coffee he was hitting the portafilter of the coffee machine like a sledgehammer in construction and you could see that almost everyone was annoyed by that but he was jeep doing it even louder every time. If you try to ask a question about something you will just complain that everything is the boss's fault and he can't do anything. Really disappointed I don't think I will visit...

Die Gläser, Teller und Besteck waren dreckig wie sau. Ich bin echt kein pingeliger Schnösel aber das war einfach krass. Ich hab mich beschwert, jedoch wirklich sehr sachlich. Am Tresen wurde mir gesagt die Sachen sind gespült, sie wissen das es dreckig ist aber die Spülmaschine funktioniert nicht richtig und er könne da jetzt nichts machen. Mit der Hand spülen war den Leuten hinterem Tresen vermutlich zu anstrengend. Keine Ahnung was da los ist und wie man sich sowas leisten kann. Wir hatten das Gefühl die hatten einfach absolut keinen Bock. Es gab jedenfalls keine Lösung für das Problem ..Ich musste es dann so hin nehmen.

Auf der Toilette hatte man auch keinen Bock weiter sauber zu machen. Es war auch dreckig. Da standen noch Putzsachen rum und man ist irgendwie nicht fertig geworden. Am Handy spielen war aber definitiv wichtiger.

Ambiente ist vielleicht Geschmacksache aber dieses komplett weiß gestrichen FOOD-Fahrrad an der Wand erinnert doch eher an ein Mahnmal eines tödlichen Verkehrsunfall. Einfach fehl am Platz und irgendwie komisch. Sorry das Konzept geht so nicht auf!

Wirklich sehr schade! Wir haben uns voll drauf gefreut. Waren am Ende einfach ziemlich sauer und von den Leuten enttäuscht. Die Rezessionen sind hier ja eher durchwachsen aber vielleicht haben andere Besucher mehr Glück. Wir kommen jedenfalls nicht...

Used to be one of my fave places but after I sat waiting for my drinks for 20 minutes while the server chatted and giggled to her friends and then made their drinks before mine (despite them coming in after me), I doubt I'll be back. She then seemed surprised I was waiting on drinks (even though it's just her here so it's not like anyone else made them) and then admitted she forgot.
