Delicious schnitzel and HUGE portions! Both my husband and I felt this was the best schnitzel in Munich and couldn’t get over the flavours, both the options available and overall taste. He had a schnitzel with a mustard blend/marinade under the schnitzel breading and he loved it! We also both loved my schnitzel with the mushroom sauce served on the side in a small gravy boat. The inside of the restaurant was clean, nothing special, and completely empty because the place to be is the back garden! The large beer garden in the back is nice on a hot day and very busy but we managed to slip in to the end of a table and we were served quickly. Schnitzel took some time, but we had some beer and enjoyed the atmosphere. The first server met didn’t speak English, but our actual waiter seemed pretty good and was very friendly. They are CASH ONLY but prices are very affordable especially for the portion size! Highly recommend!

I was for 3 days in town and one friend suggest me that " If you feel hungry for good snitchel there is a fine place near to you!.... Andy's Krablergarden!" I took a walk and when i arrived the first impression was a warming environment! I walked inside and the stuff told me that i could take my dinner to the garden! I found a suitable table and sat, in no time gave my order...snitchel with eggs and o big glass of black beer! The stuff were friendly and helpful since i ordered in English! I have heard a lot about snitchel in Germany but never imagined something like that. The food was enormous with two well cooked fried eggs and fried potatoes.....it took me 20 minutes to ate it all :) Unfortunately i was so full that i wasn't given the chance to had dessert! If was something that i would prefer better were the fried potatoes, i preferred them a little bit more cooked. Keep the good food!

Got caught in the “good review” selection when going to this restaurant. There was more than 30 min queue that we thought was worth waiting since the reviews were so good but it wasn’t like that unfortunately. The food wasn’t good, both schnitzels we asked were massive and the breadcrumbs were detaching from the meat as it was so oily. Though the look was good they were also very thick and not as expected as it wasn’t exactly tender. The ones we asked didn’t even taste like meat but just the condiments used before frying. The fries weren’t made in house but those store bought you can eat everywhere. The prices weren’t cheap either and the waitress didn’t even told us that just one portion could serve 3 people so we ended up throwing a lot of food away unfortunately. We might have caught a bad meal in a bunch of good ones but that was our experience there. Hope it helps anyone.

If you want a proper Schnitzel, comer here! Place Is a traditional big Bavarian beer garden. It is at the back of a street so it is quiet. We loved the atmosphere. Their specialities are schnitzel and Corden Bleu. Of course they have German beers. Service Fast and reliable as per German standards. We got quickly seated and despite been quite early everything was ready. Food We had soup of the day, potato and leeks. Big portion and very tasty. For mains we got pork schnitzel and one Cordon Bleu. They have a large menu of different Cordon bleu from spicy to Bavarian or Caprese. The portions are just massive, the breading is crunchy and they serve them with fries. One schnitzel is good for 2. The Cordon Bleu had ham, cheese and cranberries inside. It was a nice mix. We recommend Andy's place for a family lunch or just to get very full 😁

Took way too long for anyone to actually come over and take our order, about 15 minutes after we sat down. Every server we waved down said it wasn't their section and that they would 'send over their colleague'. However once we finally got to talk to someone we got absolutely amazing food! As a warning, it's cash only but again the food was great. The schnitzel was so very large and the sauces were incredibly tasty. We also got the 'mixed grill', which given that it was one of the more expensive items on the menu, we were originally disappointed by it when it arrived. However the comparatively small portion (vs the schnitzel we also ordered) was quickly offset by the quality of the preparation. Overall I recommend this great biergarten and grill, but bring cash and be prepared to aggressively flag down a waiter!

I recently dined at a restaurant in Munich that left me absolutely delighted. Their schnitzel is beyond amazing, easily ranking as one of the best in the city. The crispy, golden coating perfectly encapsulates the tender meat, creating a harmonious texture and taste that's hard to beat. Not only was the schnitzel superb, but the entire dining experience was a pleasure. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The schnitzel portions were generous, making it an excellent value for the quality you receive. If you're a fan of schnitzel, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. It's a must-visit for anyone in Munich seeking an exceptional schnitzel experience that will leave your taste buds singing.
