Obazda schnitzel is highly recommended. The portion sizes are really big that only 2 people can finish one portion. service is also fast. *** I have to update my review, since our last visit was absolutely disappointment. The waiter’s attitude towards us was unacceptable. Our guest couldn’t decide what he is gonna drink at the first visit of the waiter, we ordered our schnitzels first and after that he ordered his drink. And the waiter told us “are you finished? It is my second visit to this table”. We were shocked but we didn’t say anything because we had our guest and we wanted to him have a good experience there, since it was the first restaurant that he went in Munich. After finishing our meal, we couldn’t finish them all, and we asked for taking the rest as to go. The same waiter who two minutes earlier brought in the food of the people at the next table and wrapped it up with folio, did not do the same for our food. He tore off the aluminum foil and put it on the table in front of us, as if to say, you do it. I can't help thinking that this was racism because the people at the next table were German and we weren't and we were speaking English. Normally this was the first restaurant I recommended to everyone, but I don't recommend it to anyone anymore. I hope it was just us, not everyone is always treated like this.

This “Mecca of beer, schnitzel and pork loin” has become a personal tradition for me. Every time I visit München—or even when just passing through—I make it a point to stop at Andy’s. I purposefully avoid snacking beforehand, knowing I’ll indulge in their generous portions of schnitzel, potato salad, pork loin, cordon bleu, and beer that’s fit for kings and/or giants. KITCHEN OPEN without break for siesta 12-23. Staff is friendly, and my personal favorite - straightforward and well-organized, pros of their craft. There is also an old-school beer-lift outside by the entrance. Has a BEERGARTEN in warmer season Pro Tip: CASH ONLY 💶. 🅿️Street parking has never been an issue for me, and the surrounding area is perfect for a post-meal stroll to walk off those hearty portions. Located on the northeastern edge of München’s old town🏛️, it’s a charming area to explore, with cool urban bars and specialty shops and München’s main station is just a short walk away.🚊 During the 🎄 season, it’s conveniently close to the Christmas market.

Delicious schnitzel and HUGE portions! Both my husband and I felt this was the best schnitzel in Munich and couldn’t get over the flavours, both the options available and overall taste. He had a schnitzel with a mustard blend/marinade under the schnitzel breading and he loved it! We also both loved my schnitzel with the mushroom sauce served on the side in a small gravy boat. The inside of the restaurant was clean, nothing special, and completely empty because the place to be is the back garden! The large beer garden in the back is nice on a hot day and very busy but we managed to slip in to the end of a table and we were served quickly. Schnitzel took some time, but we had some beer and enjoyed the atmosphere. The first server met didn’t speak English, but our actual waiter seemed pretty good and was very friendly. They are CASH ONLY but prices are very affordable especially for the portion size! Highly recommend!

Food without a quality of service is equals to a very bad experience. Unfortunately i had a very bad experience today. After i orderwd my Schnitzel, by coincidence i saw on google reviews people saying that we can only pay by cash. So i asked the waiter if this is true and he said yes and its written on a paper on the door. I told him where? I habent seen it. He told me at the door. I went out and ofcourse i would never see it. Anyway, i found out i only have 20 something euros in cash so i asked him if we can cancel one plate of the two so i can pay in cash he said no its already in the process and we cant cancel. I told him but i cant withdraw cash from any atm because my card doesnt allow that he said its not my problem you should pay by cash and i dont have any other solution. I told him ok i have 50 us dollars so i can pay them and the rest in euros. He told us okay but you will have to pay us also the 20 euros which makes a total of 64 euros and our bill was 46 euros and he said thats because we are doing you a favor. Moral of the story, you guys should treat your customers better than this because this way you’d make us feel unwelcomed and would not ever recommend this...
