Alpenwahn ist für mich eindeutig mehr als nur ein Weihnachtsmarkt - es ist ein wirkliches Erlebnis und an Stimmung nicht zu übertreffen. Der Glühwein ist sichtlich hausgemacht und man kann deutlich schmecken, dass die Basis kein Billigwein ist - das merkt man zusätzlich daran, dass er nicht so babbsüß schmeckt wie es häufig auf den herkömmlichen Weihnachtsmärkten der Fall ist. Die herausragende Qualität und das Feeling sorgen dafür, dass ich den Preis gerne zahle - wenn ich mich mal am Abend dafür entscheide, mich hochwertig bekochen zu lassen, suche ich schließlich auch eher ein gutes Restaurant als einen Imbiss auf, Qualität hat eben ihren Preis. Für das kulinarische Wohl wird beim Alpenwahn mit einer reichhaltigen Auswahl an (auch veganen) Würsteln inkl. Toppings, Pommes und Crepes gesorgt, ist alles frisch und schmeckt richtig gut. Das Besondere ist auch, dass nicht nur Weihnachtslieder rauf und runter geträllert werden, sondern die gut abgestimmte Mischung aus Pop- und Hip Hop-Klassikern, Oldies und Weihnachtsmusik dafür sorgt, dass man sich ein bisschen wie auf einem großen Fest fühlt - und irgendwann kaum mehr anders kann, als mitzuschwingen. Die Jungs sind außerdem richtige Stimmungsmacher und immer für einen Spaß zu haben. Es ist diese Mischung aus Weihnachtsflair, hochwertigem und authentischem Glühwein sowie guter Musik und festlicher Stimmung, die das Alpenwahn besonders macht und wahrscheinlich der Grund dafür ist, dass man dort stets eine bunte Mischung aus jung und nicht so jung sowie aus unterschiedlichsten...

This for me is probably the best place to enjoy a gluhwein with a 'dash' of rum for the holiday season. The staff a fast and super friendly.

The people here don't seem to crowd around the counter as I have noticed in other places. People tend to grab their drinks and head to their own space for some conversation.

They have a nice wurst stand here as well as some tasty crepes for you to enjoy, try them with Grand Marnier and Nutella for a flavour treat. They will tell you that they have never tried...

My favourite mulled wine (Glühwein) place in Munich for years. All home made and much better quality than the other sugar bomb cups in the city, although it has decreased the first time this year unfortunately, tasting a bit more watered down. Be sure to try the Apfelstrudel! Crowd is mixed and relaxed as is the music. For winter munchies there's also a crepe and sausage...
