Beef Crew — Restaurant in Munich

Mediocre, overpriced burgers, dishonest restaurant, horrible experience.

Food: burgers with little taste.

Experience: Charged for item I did not order. Server/owner threatened to call the police when I balked. Did not want to wait for the police and so paid the overcharge for peace of mind. Pick your battles.

Highly recommend against this restaurant.

Background: Visited looking for a good experience, and a good lunch. Ordered the business lunch. It includes a beverage. They brought me the wrong beverage and I pointed this out to server. I asked if it was also included in the business lunch as the substitute was fine for me (water 0.5l instead of water 0.3l). I checked in both English and German, and in both languages they told me yes the beverage is also included in the business lunch.

Then the bill came.

Food was disappointing. Service terrible. I was threatened by a rude, abrupt and aggressive server/owner (claimed he was the owner), raising his voice at me. Other reviews allude to this.

Said I would document my experience in reviews, and asked for his name. Refused to give me his name. Said his name was "Beef Crew."

Server/owner lied directly to me and claimed I ordered a second beverage with him and with his colleague. So ridiculous.

Service was very slow with a mostly empty restaurant.

When I ordered, I asked for toppings on the side. The server/owner told me, straight out and rudely, no. I said, please check if the kitchen can do that. He then reluctantly agreed. Maybe this got him angry, and he decided to take revenge. Pure speculation.

I saw my food sitting prepared on the counter for 10 minutes. The owner/server ignored my attempts to alert him. A second employee arrived from outside and he eventually brought me my food.

Bottom line: mediocre, food, dishonest restaurant. Overcharged me, highly unpleasant experience.

Also poor hygiene, the caddy which was supposed to contain the condiments was filthy and the condiments were missing. By the time caught the server/owner’s attention for the condiments, I was almost finished with my lunch. Another table was kind enough to offer me theirs.

Other reviews also complain about all of these issues, including hygiene, yelling, rudeness, overcharging.

A very unpleasant experience. The server refused to give me his name, told me his name was "beef crew." I got name of the owner off the website as well as an email address and I will also sent to them in the hope that I get an apology.

Some time around Evening my BF: i am ordering a veg burger on Lieferando do you want 1? Me: I don't like burgers. Order some thick fries for me plz, not the thin ones though. While there is no direct correlation to Hamburg, Germany, the word hamburger does originate here. And while Munich is on the clear other side of the country, The Beef Crew here know their hamburger. For my first time here I tried their "Cheese Explosion Burger". This monster lives up to its name! I forget how many cheeses this thing has because quite frankly I never heard of some of them before. But rather than ketchup, mayo, or some special dressing...this burger comes with nacho cheese as its condiment. Again the name: Cheese Explosion.
