Absolute favourite coffee “to-go” spot in the neighbourhood.
CAOS has quickly become my go-to café in the area. The atmosphere is minimalistic yet welcoming, with great attention to detail—especially in the way drinks are presented. It’s clear that a lot of care, thought, and creativity go into everything they do.
Yes, prices are definitely on the higher end—but to be fair, they’re in line with what you’d expect/get in Munich. More importantly, the quality, originality, and consistency of the offer fully justify the cost. You’re paying for something crafted with intent—not just a generic to-go coffee or, even worse, a cappuccino with foam-that’s-not-really-foam.
As a traditional Italian, I usually have pretty strong views about coffee—but I have to say, the Orange Coffee surprised me in the best possible way. Balanced, aromatic, and refreshing—definitely worth trying if you’re open to something different. And the matcha with coconut rice milk is hands down the best I’ve had anywhere in the city. A standout option, especially if you’re looking for something plant-based and delicious.
The staff are kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about their craft, which makes each visit feel personal and enjoyable.

Read moreIt was lovely trying out this relatively new matcha place in Munich. I’m not the biggest fan of matcha drinks, but the strawberry one was great! I would assume the banana matcha is even better, but unfortunately we went early in the morning and they didn’t have it yet. We were very impressed with the croissants, which are probably the best ones we’ve tasted in Munich, so be sure to try them out! The staff is friendly and there are a couple of tables inside, as well as a long bench outside for when the weather is nice. I noticed a fair amount of people went in a took a drink to go, so I guess others enjoyed the...
Read moreCaos delivers what many matcha spots try to but don’t quite nail. The iced matcha with oat milk was perfectly balanced - not too bitter, not too sweet, just smooth and creamy. Paired it with an almond peach cake that was soft, flavourful, and felt like it was made with real care. Staff were warm and welcoming, and the whole place has a laid-back but curated feel. A genuinely enjoyable stop, whether you’re a matcha enthusiast or just want a quality café moment.
Quietly rated: worth stopping (and worth coming back for the...
