Café Satz — Restaurant in Munich

A beautiful Vietnamese woman greeted me with arms wide open and a heart full of gold. Anticipating my needs each step of the way, she explained how she did not have Phad Thai, as I’d asked about, yet another delicious noodle dish. After pointing to it on the menu and explaining the ingredients and preparation to me, I said okay. She surprised me and served me each my apple juice choice and my mango juice. My veggie fried noodles were absolutely perfect.

Such a beautiful delight, she spoke to me about Vietnam and Vietnamese women and they hard-working women in Germany. We talked about Atlanta, Georgia and Vietnam as well. We talked about her menu and I gave suggestions. She talked to me about her sister and how this is just been the very opening of her store, very recently. She told me about how she had ones are already. she said how the loaves of people came in for lunch one day and she just didn’t have enough people back in the kitchen to make the high amount of food on that day and she was still getting things sorted out. That makes complete sense for a brand new restaurant. I really think she had to get a pass for that. She’s working so hard and this really is a wonderful place. She seems like she really wants to make this place work. I go home to Atlanta Georgia tomorrow or I would definitely come back. There’s a lady sitting across from me in the room already a repeat customer. I took a picture of her food.

When I come back to Germany again to see my dear friend Melanie, I will definitely take Melanie here. I will also suggest to the people I have met and enjoyed being around that they come here.

I wish you the very, very best with this restaurant. I hope that next summer in Germany, the line won’t be too long to get into this restaurant. You’re gonna do extremely well.!

Update Dezember 2024: Menüschaukästen sind demontiert, Restaurant hat nie offen. Eröffnung war erst vor 3 Monaten. Wie kann das sein? Heute entdeckt, dass nach dem unsäglichen Halong Bay hier eine neue Gastronomie eröffnet hat. Bon Bistro heißt es nun und wirkt schon von der Karte deutlich ambitionierter als der Vorgänger (Mittagsmenü, Schülermenü). Wird demnächst...
