We had tom kha, vegan schnitzel and ayurveda plate. The food was delicious on the beautiful plates and nicely served. I recommend it strictly for the food. Wanted to have also the kaiserschmarrn but i wanted to go as soon as possible. Such bad service I haven't received in any vegan restaurant during my road trip through EU. The waitress was rude at first when we were waiting for the table, then she put us three by the table for two persons. She didn't even wiped the table as there was one eating before us. When we ordered she didn't know what the menu was, then she wrote down the order and yet after waiting for 20min she brought us main dishes, as she forgot the soups. When we asked for the shoups she look at as like what soups, as she didn't know what we were talking about and asked if we want them with the main dish. We requested for another waiter, as I don't know clearly she was on drugs, laughing all the time, forgetting things behaving totally inappropriate during her job. At the end we got another waitress which was too forward also. Not bothering for the guest rather hugging her boyfriend and chatting with her girlfriend. Had to stand up and ask for the receipt. Not eating...

Anything positive about this restaurant was overshadowed by the unpleasant interactions with our waitress. She was not friendly at all, made us feel unwelcome and in the way. She appeared irritated and impatient with us. When we requested additional cutlery she looked at us like we were idiots. She then dumped the cutlery on the table roughly. We waited about 15 minutes to pay the bill after requesting, and she did not give us or even offer our change (I guess assuming she could keep it as a tip) and simply walked off quickly with the money. We had to approach her directly to ask for our change which was met with surprise and no real apology. I am happy to give a tip when the service is good and may have even given a tip despite the unfriendly service as it was our last night in Germany and I needed to use the money, however I didn’t like that she assumed she could take it without any indication from us. It was bizarre. I was excited to try this place, saw that it was highly recommended online. The bartender and other staff interactions were nice. I enjoyed the food though it was a bit pricey. We enjoyed sitting outside in the garden as it was a nice evening and the...

I couldn't decide between 3 or 4 stars but the dessert was so good that I gave 4. The place is highly overrated I believe, at least for someone living internationally and experiencing vegan food elsewhere. The location is nice, the atmosphere in the restaurant okay. I found the art and interior a bit strange and old-fashioned. Staff was friendly but too busy for a chat. The starter was good (some baked avocado dish). The main (schnitzel and potato-zucchini stew/soup?) was okayish. The texture of the schnitzel was extremely good but then the fries mediocre and salad, too. The potato dish was okay in taste but I still can't figure out what it was supposed to taste like/represent. On the stew there was some green lettuce. The dessert was really good, although too sugary. We had the Kaiserschmarn, some ice cream, and tiramisu. The ice cream is super convincing and the Kaiserschmarn absolutely delicious.

If you want some traditional Bavarian dishes, go there and have some Schnitzel. If you want some great, organic, home-made plant-based foods, maybe you are better...

I gave this restaurant 5 stars two years ago and now I have to downgrade it because it ist just not true anymore. I know this crisis is hard on restaurants and I understand the need to reduce service, increase prices etc. to stay competitive but it just seems excessive in Max Petts case. So excessive that I have to take back my review from 2 years ago about their lunch deals. Before the pandemic you could get a daily changing lunch menu for 10eur with a main dish and either a soup or dessert of choice. Now the pickup price for a bowl is 15 euros. It increased by 50% while also reducing what you get - and it has been two times just big pieces of vegetables with tomato sauce on either rice or couscous since the daily changing lunch menu has been basically scrapped. In a time where everyone has to look at what they spend to increase the price by effectively more than 50% is just unreasonable. The ingredient price and dish creativity is in no relation to the price you are paying and I can cook something better much cheaper at home- which I will do from now on.

My new FAVORITE RESTAURANT, period! ❤️ Max Pett brings vegan food to a whole new level. The food was absolutely amazing. My partner and I shared the coconut sweet potato soup, mushroom ravioli, vegan schnitzel, and vegan keesespätzle. The keesespätzle was our favorite (every bite was a heavenly experience!) but honestly all the food was excellent. Great portions that really fill you up. We also enjoyed a slice of Snickers cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a scoop of Snickers ice cream. Shout out to our server, Daniel. He was super friendly and knowledgable, and made us feel warmly welcomed on our first evening in Munich. Whoever from the restaurant sees this review, please tell Daniel thank you! We will be back! I definitely want to try their vegan weekend brunch next time. If you're wondering if you should eat here, vegan or non-vegan, YES, you must!

food is just OK. I wouldn't bring my omnivore friends. i ordered gnocchi and schnitzel. the gnocchi was a bit hard and dry. It was stuffed with something earthy, i think beetroot, which was also hard in texture. The gnocchi sauce was fine but didn't taste much of anything. The garnish just looked like leaves that had been left to dry but in a bad way. the impressive thing was the cheese really smelled like parmesan cheese. the chicken of the schnitzel should be upgraded to something that doesn't taste like cardboard. the fries and salad and the red sauce were all tasty and i love that it was served with a lemon wedge. the vegan Kaiserschmarrn is really good! i love all the ice cream and vegan dessert options.
