NomNomNation — Restaurant in Munich

Hello guys I have created this account to give honest reviews and from what I can say now NOMNOMNATION DID NOT fulfill my expectations. Let’s start: I ordered food from Uber eats (1 CARAMEL TAPIOKA bubble tea, and 2 Red velvet cookies, Taiyaki). 1.1 THE FOOD WAS WRONG. My cookies were not RED VELVET and they were so chewy and soggy and weird. Rating: 2/10 I’m very disappointed, how can one fail to deliver 2 red velvet cookies. 2.1 this probably IS the worst ever place to get boba. Again as mentioned earlier I ordered the caramel DRIZZLE TAPIOKA boba if u search for it, it looks orange and has CARAMEL DRIZZLE and literally has Tapioka there NOW TELL ME WHY DID I get literal MILK with strawberry popping boba (I ordered the pink popping boba but I thought it’s gonna be an addition to the TAPIOKA AS IN THE PICTURE) that was by faaaaar the worst ever 6€ spent. How the flip did I get A LITERAL CUP OF SWEET MILK with popping boba NO CARAMEL, NO CARAMEL FLAVOR NO NOTHING. NomNomNation set a new LOW BAR and surprisingly they even managed to score below that low bar. Rating on the supposed to be boba: -10/10. 3.1 Now lastly the Taiyaki. 3 words to describe that failure of creation Soggy, chewy, EW. To be honest it was my fault ordering the matcha and red bean but who the FLIP puts 12 scoops of matcha paste in a little piece of dough not bigger than my index. I only enjoyed the TARO one it was sweet and delicious. To conclude: Stay AWAYYYYY AWAYYYY from there messed up my order so bad got it all wrong and on top of that wasted my money on a LITERAL cup of milk. I’ve never been angry or disappointed with the staff and food in Munich.

The waiting time was extremely long (45 minutes), even though there were only a few customers. My order was completely forgotten without an apology by one of the male staff, while the other female staff did apologize. Wrong orders were consistently being made for other customers. The food quality was so-so, and the waffle was cold (definitely not freshly made!).

Here is the story: Before I placed my order, there were 3 customers waiting for their food. After I completed my payment, they had also been waiting for more than 40 minutes. However, I heard from the customers that the male staff had given them the wrong flavor. He had to redo their order multiple times. There were 2 groups of customers behind me, and despite waiting for over 45 minutes, these two groups received their food before me. There were no new customers in the store at that point. So, I asked the male staff if he had forgotten my order, as it had been more than 45 minutes. He replied, "It's okay," and mentioned that there were a lot of customers. To be honest, during those 45 minutes, around 6 groups of customers were definitely "a few," but not "a lot." He told me that I didn't need to be "like that" (probably meaning angry). Then, the female staff tried to apologize and offered a free drink, but I declined. Surprisingly, it only took 3 minutes to prepare my order, which was made using a non-freshly-made and cold waffle. Absolutely chaotic experience. I have never experienced such inefficiency in taking the order and making the drinks and taiyaki. It seemed like the other employee was on her first day at work without any onboarding. Completely lost and it took incredibly long time. I really wish we would have already given up while waiting, seeing how messy the whole process was.

My matcha drink was really bad, it was not mixed properly and i could feel the matcha powder in my mouth. Unfortunately it was the worst matcha drink I have had in my life, I really would not recommend it to anyone. Taiyaki was mediocre at best, although as pointed out in other reviews here - has nothing to do with taiyaki except for the shape.
