We saw the museum from the outside and it really looked interesting, so we booked a time slot to explore it! We first logged into the wifi and got a brief introduction at the front desk. The staff handed us a QR code and after scanning it, we now got access to a homepage. There were 5 photo stations inside the museum and all photos taken through them would be uploaded unto that homepage and with our personal QR code we could then look at them, or download them if we wanted to. That code, however, is only valid for a limited amount of time, to best download your photos instantly. My favourites were the first room with the glass, the one with the LED stripes on the side and the one with the cut-outs that simulated depth. Sadly, especially the first one, was almost always rather busy, even though we had timed entry slots. I think it would have been better to not put the glass room right at the start of the experience, that way people wouldn’t just stop right away and form an instant queue. We definitely did have a lot of fun and overall spent around 2 hours there. But we also really took our time and explored everything, including waiting times. I think the top floor is definitely more interesting than the one below. The downstairs area is rather empty compared to the above and while there are optical illusions and stations with optical tricks, this part is nothing I haven’t seen before, and sadly I have also seen it better. The stations here were just plain white, and it seemed almost like an afterthought compared to the area above. For me personally, 25€ for the entrance ticket were also a bit expensive for the entire experience. I think it’s really great for kids, although best not bring your really young ones, as some of the effects definitely triggered quite some small children during our stay. For adults, it’s a bit of a mix between a selfie-museum and stations with optical illusions. If the optical illusions would be improved, I’d say we would wow-ed. But we definitely had a lot of fun and a great time there! I especially have to mention the staff there, however. They did a wonderful job and helped when we seemed lost, but they never felt imposing or bothered us in any way. They were just amazing!

A good alternative on a rainy day. I wouldn't call it a "MUST SEE", any larger city has similar facilities. There is no "Munich only" gadget but it's still worth visiting the place. Some explanations are difficult to understand and the photo shooting function with barcode is nice to have but your own camera still makes better pictures. It helps though if you're alone or with one friend only to have both of you on the picture. The quiz is tricky and somehow leaves you puzzled if you don't know the answer. All in all it's a nice add on to your hotspot list.

A new exciting and unique experience in Munich! We were not sure what to expect beforehand but were surprised at how much was in the museum-two floors filled with a multitude of interactive illusions, games and even a secret scavenger hunt. It’s really a great location for all ages (we were adults having a blast, can’t imagine how fun it is for families). And best of all it’s all digital, you can engage with activities, find more details and even download photos from your phone🙌
