Unsere Erwartungen waren also entsprechend hoch...

BEWARE! The worst experience at a restaurant. I called beforehand to ask if they had a table available and I went over with friends. We got in, and they were not coming over with menus. I had to get up and chase down the waitress many times because she wouldn’t come. At the end she said it would take up to 1 hour to get any sushi. This was extremely infuriating since I called, and she could’ve said beforehand that waiting time was extremely long. The place was not busy and the staff was extremely neglectful, and forgot to share the most important information. If they were very busy, which is understandable, they didn’t have to ask us to come over and then let us wait. The woman was rude and inconsiderate...

I would rank as one of the best Japanese sushi restaurants in town. It is absolutely 5 out of 5. It is owned and operated by Japanese so the service and food is excellent. The table where we sat needs to take off your shoes. Therefore, if you don’t like that, please tell them when you make the reservation. For 4 persons, we ordered Tamagoyaki, Edamame, steak, light grilled tuna fish, variable sushi and sashimi plate. All of them are delicious. So no need to worry which to order but you might end up ordering too much;) Including two drinks per person and dessert, we paid 250 (inc tips). And we will definitely...

I wanted to treat my daughter, who was visiting here on college break, with an authentic, classic Japanese restaurant and I must say we were very happy with the choice. She’s passionate about Japan and has tried so many restaurants so far. Well, she said this one serves great 🍱 with fresh ingredients. I agree. The decor, then, transports back to Japan, as well as the friendliness of the staff. They warn you that since the sushi chef prepares from scratch, you’ve to be prepared to wait, but you don’t wait that long in the end. And even so, it’s such a lovely place that you don’t mind. Thumbs up!

What’s good: tamago is pretty solid, so is their sukiyaki udon. Selected pieces of their sashimi and sushi like their mackerel and scallop are good. Also a wide range of sake What’s not good: value for money isn’t great, you will easily spend >€90 per person and probably still not leave full. The lacklustre fish selection in Munich undoubtedly contributes to the high costs of the sushi here, which is okay in quality for but not great for the price you’re forking out. Even premium pieces like their chutoro is rather uninspiring
