I ordered the jheenga chilli and it was dreadful. Not Indian food at all, it was basically a Chinese sweet and sour sauce with Tabasco added. Huge chunks of pepper and thin chewy bits of red onion, from the outer skin. The prawns were large, but not fresh and I think they were coated in flour. No sign of green chillies, like stated on the website.
The onion baji was very thick, greasy and soggy, with a bland taste. The chicken pakora was also soggy and tasteless. The chicken was very un-chicken like - reprocessed and cheap. The garlic nan was soggy and chewy as it had been wrapped in tin foil that kept in the condensation, some for the baji and pakora in metal containers.
The mango lassi was clearly made from powder and had too much as it was slightly grainy. It was artificial and sad just like the rest of it.
I also ordered chicken biryani, but haven't tried it yet. I'm scared to be honest. It was ordered as something to be heated up later, but not sure if I'll bother.
Indian food is my absolute favourite and is the most flavourful food you can get, when done properly. This was an insult to Indian food. I'm from Glasgow and we have a huge Indian community and one of my best mates at school was Indian - I used to love going over to his for food. This place is scandalous, even for Munich Indian food. The spices were awful and very in your face, not subtle and varied like true Indian food should be. €60...
Read moreOnly three tables were occupied in the restaurant, including mine. The waiter took my order: Palakpaneer, mix salad and Garliknan. He brought me a salad which he placed in front of me, and in about 5 min. brought by Garlicnan. I realized that he saw this part of the order as my appetizer, so I accepted it. and so, when I've eaten that, I'm waiting and waiting for my main course, and there's no waiter at all. When he went to the next table, on the way back I ask him what happened to my Alupalak, and he says that I ordered something else. I ask, and what is that, I didn't really understand, but I asked if it was vegan, to which he answered in the affirmative. I said, if it's done, he can bring it to me. I wait again for approx. 5-6 minutes. First, he brought a coaster that should retain the heat of the food, but the coaster was cold. Finally I eat, and the music: on ripit one and the same song, then they changed it to a mantra behind which you can imagine, comes Indian rap ... I was in this restaurant exactly one year ago and it was great, and...

We dined here upon recommendation from a friend to specially try the Chicken Tikka biryani and Dal Makhani and it did not disappoint.
We asked for it to be spicy, it was perfect. With every bite there was so much flavour and the meat was cooked to perfection. The dal makhani was also very rich and creamy packed with flavours. Their quantities are very generous, which I loved as not a lot of Indian restaurants offer this (if its pricy its usually less in quantity as well). They also gave us mango cream as complimentary desserts which we thought was a nice gesture and also tasted good.
The owner is super friendly and makes an effort to connect with diners. The ambience was good with old bollywood hits,...
