CôCô – Indochine Sushi Nürnberg — Restaurant in Nuremberg

I recently dined at this restaurant and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Despite making a reservation for two at 7:30 p.m. and arriving promptly on time, the service I received was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find that there were around five empty tables for two people, yet we were directed to a table attached/next to the bar. When I politely inquired if we could have a different table, as there were several available, the response from the staff member was dismissive and unhelpful. Despite my insistence and the obvious availability of other tables, we were informed bluntly that we could not have a different table because they were supposedly reserved. When pressed for clarification on which specific tables were reserved, the staff member simply stated that we would not be accommodated elsewhere as they are reserved. This lack of flexibility and unwillingness to accommodate a reasonable request was extremely disappointing. It's perplexing how all the tables designated for two people, which were visibly unoccupied, could be off-limits. Furthermore, the manner in which the situation was handled lacked professionalism and courtesy. As a customer, I expect a certain level of attentiveness and a willingness to accommodate reasonable requests, especially when there are clearly...

BEWARE, THEY DOUBLE CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD. ON PURPOSE? WAITING FOR RESOLUTION. The food was great, and I went there 2 nights in a row with my daughter. I was charged twice on my credit card. Thankfully my card emailed me to see if that was ok. I had to go back to the restaurant to tell them and they seemed unconcerned and said it happens all the time. They said it would fix itself and if not, to send them an email. 2 months later, it did NOT fix itself. I called and they said to get their email off their website...it's not on there. I asked the person to just TELL me their email address and he said "I have a new phone, I don't have the address. Call back later". I said NOPE. They will have to call ME back. Waiting...... seems...

We visited for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the kind, hard-working wait staff. As the restaurant is essentially Vietnamese with other asian influences, the menu is a bit too eclectic for my taste. However, you cannot go wrong ordering the (southern?) Vietnamese specialties. We started with some appetizers that all seemed home-made/fresh and then continued with the traditional noodle and broth soup, Pho! Fantastic flavors served in an appetizing and modern manner. To note is that while the beer I was served was flat, I mentioned this to our waiter who immediately replaced it with another choice on the menu. Will be returning again...
