Casa Pane — Restaurant in Nuremberg

My husband and I came here twice for breakfast. They’ve got a decent selection of breads ranging from sweet, plain and savoury. The tomato and mozzarella focaccia was just okay, as it was a little bland, and also, it didn’t seem to actually be focaccia, so I think something may have gone wrong with the translation. The salami sandwich in a roll, on the other hand, was very enjoyable; the bread was soft and fluffy on the inside and the sandwich fillings were tasty, especially the creamy spread. My husband enjoyed his pain au chocolat both times. He also ordered coffee, which he described as “good, not great”, whatever that means. So, average? “No, it was good.” Okay.

Toilets are downstairs, but there is a sign telling you that the access code is on your receipt, which I didn’t take when the employee offered it to me, so if you’re thinking of visiting the toilet, make sure to take...

Visiting Nuremberg and looked for coffee early on a Sunday morning. Google said they were open so I walked 5 mins from hotel to get a cup. When I arrived at 7:37am the front door was open, they were obviously getting ready to open but they would not serve me coffee until 8am. The person who spoke with me informed me that it was Sunday at they could not possibly serve me until 8am. Walking back to my hotel I saw a nice place that appeared to be open “Cafe Pique Nique”. I walked in, ordered an Americano and walked happily back to my hotel on Sunday at 7:45am. Pique Nique informed me that they had opened at 7:30 by the way. They did not seem to be on Google for some reason. At least not...

Unfortunately this visit was not very pleasant, I got 1 tomato bruschetta( tomatoes tasted like pickled as they were not fresh), 1 roast vegetables bruschetta ( dry on sides rock hard) and we got 2 drinks l, 1 cake and 1 salami sandwich (tasty), Our server this time was very unpleasant and no customer service whatsoever was in his type.

€24 euro for these mehhhh bits, can you at least give us a smile and make us feel like you want us there? If you don't want to please get someone else to serve and you go do something else. Plenty of of jobs to do in the store.
