Original Bar - Nürnberg — Restaurant in Nuremberg

Jamaica at it's best - I've never been to Jamaica, but this is exactly how I would imagine it.

We arrive at 8:10pm, the waitress takes our order for the meals (jerked chicken) with the note that the kitchen closes at 8:30, all sounds great, then comes a native Jamaican spin-doctor telling us that the kitchen closed at 8 already but he'll look into what they can serve us, as, well, they ran out of chicken already. 😃

Long story short - after a few rounds of super relaxed back and forth with him, we did get some food eventually - not what we ordered, but still... Respect! 👌

While the ambiance is a bit puritan (I didn't like the benches united with the tables) the cocktails were delicious and the live mixed and loud music from the 90's brought back those memories.

Fun place to stop-by on a night out in the buzzing (🤣 ) Nürnberg...

Great place to experience Jamaican culture and great people. I would advise a stop by to anyone going through the area. It's a bar with a good kitchen until around 10pm then the doors arr shut and the dance floor is filled with good folks enjoying the sounds of another world.
