Pockets Nürnberg is perfectly place in the Alt Stadt, tucked a way on a side street. Looking for breakfast? Lunch? A snack? A cozy, bright place with amazing food and great coffee? This is your place. We’re been to Pockets twice since landing in Nürnberg and both times were perfect! The pockets are so unique, full of flavor (get the Black Forest! Or the Popeye) and the espresso is so smooth (iced latte, please!). Bonus: if you need a breakfast spot in Nürnberg, which those are harder to find than you’d think, this is the perfect place. Grab a couple pockets, grab one of their summer drink specials, and sit outside for a while. I promise you won’t regret it.

You can start your day in the city at Pockets with a late „spicy“ breakfast. Or you enjoy a snack in this location. Als o sweet small dishes can be ordered here. We ordered the „vegano“ pocket with home made lemonade and iced coffee. Great tasty Start in the day for us. Here you can get a very authentic nice and relaxed service and feel super welcome. With attention and no hurry your food and beverage is created and served. There sitting area is mainly outdoors. You can come here with a stroller but for wheelchair you could be handicapend. There is one step to enter the shop.

Went for breakfast at open. Got both a savory and sweet pocket. Both were very good and the cappuccino's were great. The place is well run with care and the employees are very friendly and polite. I even got one to go for later added some cream topping to it. I appreciate when places strive to make the experience for take away as close as possible to the eat in. The positive reviews were accurate in this case. The service may be a bit slow but that is due to the small size and popularity of the place.

We were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids. We had a few savoury pockets - which tasted average. The chocolate pocket tasted good.not too sweet. The coffee was very good. But sadly when I asked for a glass of water the girl at the counter said we have given you 10 cups of water so please buy a bottle from the fridge. But by that time we only had around 3-4 glasses of water in our table!! No where close to 10 ! I find it as a very unkind gesture to say that when someone asks for some water. After we have paid for the food not even a five star hotel responds in this way for a glass of water. Usually table water is served to anyone. Very cute place with a light an airy atmosphere, cool art and lots of plants. Lots of outside seating available. The place is conveniently located very close to the main station and just a little off the main street on the way to the historic center. The staff is kind and professional, no problems ordering in English. They have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available for food and drink (no extra charge for oatmilk!); their puff pastry for the sweet pies is also vegan.
