Taqueria Cantina la Lucha city — Restaurant in Nuremberg

Small quaint restaurant in a great location. The very friendly staff can only do so many miracles before having to send people away; so just make a reservation on the website, they seem to have issues with Whatsapp, so I would avoid that method.

Food wise, I was pleasantly surprised at how authentic the guacamole, pastor, cochinita pibil, barbacoa and nopales tasted. The green salsa they had on the table was also very good.

I didn't care for the corn tortillas that they use, will just order the hand made flour tortillas next time. I'm sure they'll be very tasty. We had the stuffed jalapenos, mehh, those were pre-packaged frozen. I mean they are fine, but the restaurant doesn't need them. My only complaint was the Mexican beer selection. I would have liked something better than Corona.

I will be honest here. The only good thing in this place was our waiter. He was friendly, smiling, nice and even though the place was packed, he did everything he could for us, considering he was alone. He even went an extra mile making me a special drink. The food though, unfortunatelly we've had much much better mexican. We were disappointed. We tasted almost every taco in the menu and they were just very very ordinary. The nachos as well. The atmosphere is maybe..just fine, but we just didn't feel like we would go back there. It is a small place, so you will be close to other customers. Overall, cheers from our company to the waiter, who was just great, but we will not see...

Lovely place to visit, the food it's delicious, the decorations, the paintings and the music fill the room with mexican energy and the guys there are super welcoming. If you are vegan, like me, you can always ask them about their vegan alternatives. For starters the guac & chips it's a great option. The food comes with two sauces that allows you to manage how spicy 🔥 you want it, believe me, you won't miss the heat 🌶️ here. Of course you have to try the Margaritas, there's a couple of flavors but I went with the classic and I loved it, they're so refreshing that it makes you want to drink more than one. All in all, great experience, perfect place to go with friends and enjoy...
