Niu Asian Café — Restaurant in Nuremberg

The rainbow cake had no taste for almost 6€. The pistachio crepe cake was good, totally different. The fluffy cheesecake was like brioche, nothing special for the price. Small portions. We waited over 10 minutes, even thought the cakes are ready, simply waiting to be cut, while the employees were chatting. I'm sure the products are good quality for the high prices but it was not tasty (except the pistachio cake). The service was so-so. I guess the cafe attracts Instagram people mostly.

I simply wasn't satisfied for the service I paid for and it's my right to say so, no need to search further and make things up. It seems rude and unprofesional to me. 🙂 I tried enough, 3 cakes and a strawberry mochi thingy, I won't come back to your cafe, especially after a response like this. I'm used to buy french pastries in this price range, for once I went for something different and it wasn't my taste. When I see the employees chatting together right in front of me instead of bringing the order, I also have a right to say I find that strange. 😅

If I was asked about your cafe, I would say the food wasn't my taste but it might be more suited for someone who like asian desserts. However with this displeasing answer, I will now say the owner can't seem to take criticism and that I wouldn't recommend putting money in his or her pocket.

My husband and I visited this establishment a week ago because we’ve always wanted to try these type of desserts. Upon arrival there were two people standing in line so we waited, once we were able to enter we ordered to go because there wasn’t much inside seating left. After we ordered we were asked to stand outside in the cold to wait on our order (with no explanation). No one else was asked to wait outside everyone has to option to stand inside to wait whether they were to go or waiting to dine in. We were the only African American individuals and it felt very much so related with why we were asked to wait outside. We ordered two different types of cakes and they both carelessly THROWN is the same take away container. Never visiting again or suggesting it to friends. Poor customer service and for sure racial profiling...

My stay was okay because, me and my friend ordered a slice of berry crêpe cake, we both found it hard to eat pretty fast. It looked very delicious, but for us it wasnt. Because there was barely any cream between the crêpe dough to make you swallow it smoothly, instead it was decorated with berry syrup and berries. It looked very delicious at first sight but i got disappointed as i saw my friend eat the last piece with not too much excitement on her face.

Besides the cake, we also got a latte each. We got very disappointed as what arrived on out table was merely warm colored milk, you could not taste a single bit of coffee in the latte, as by many other cafes you can.

In conclusion: it looks very good at first sight, but it was not a cafe for me and my friend. I wish you good luck...
