I recently had the pleasure of trying the block house steak restaurant, and I must say, the minion steak I ordered was a delightful culinary experience. Cooked to a perfect medium rare, the tenderness and flavor of the steak were simply delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite.

My wife opted for a regular steak, and although it wasn't as mind-blowing as the minion steak, it was still quite good. The quality of the meat was evident, and it satisfied her palate.

To complement our meal, we selected a wine from their extensive list, and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous pour and the excellent choice of flavors. It enhanced the overall dining experience.

The staff at the restaurant were attentive and provided good service throughout our meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations.

The only downside of our dining experience was the portion size of the steak. While the quality was top-notch, we found the amount of meat to be a bit lacking. It left us wanting more.

Visited BLOCK HOUSE Königstraße in Stuttgart with high hopes, as we’d heard good things about the quality of food. While the restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and the steaks we ordered were cooked perfectly, we were disappointed with one specific part of our experience: the kids’ hamburgers.

When my children ordered hamburgers, we expected traditional burgers with the meat inside a bun, the way it’s typically served. Instead, they received just a piece of hamburger meat next to a slice of bread, along with a side of French fries. The kids were puzzled and disappointed since it didn’t look or feel like a “burger” to them.

While I appreciate that BLOCK HOUSE might have its own way of serving this dish, I feel a bit more clarity on the menu could help set expectations. The service was otherwise good, and the staff was friendly and attentive. But for families with kids, this might be a small letdown if they’re hoping for a classic burger experience.

Overall, I’d recommend BLOCK HOUSE for a solid steak experience, but if you’re bringing kids who love traditional hamburgers, consider clarifying the dish...
