We recently visited Don Via in Stuttgart and had a really enjoyable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed. The staff were attentive and friendly, which made us feel comfortable right away.
The food was excellent — everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The fillet steak was a highlight: tender, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The chicken dish was also delicious and juicy, cooked to perfection without being dry, which can be tricky to get right. You can really tell that the kitchen puts care into what they serve.
We also appreciated being able to use the Schlemmerblock, which was a nice added bonus and made the visit even better value for money.
As for seating, we tried both inside and outside, and while the outdoor area is fine, sitting inside was definitely more enjoyable. The restaurant is located on a fairly busy street, so indoors felt quieter, cozier, and more relaxed — perfect for enjoying a nice meal without too much background noise.
Overall, Don Via is a great spot for a casual yet high-quality meal in Stuttgart. Good service, great food, and a comfortable setting — we’ll definitely be...
EN: Check your receipt before you pay. Food is great, the waitress is not. She adds 4 Euro charge for no reason to our bill and did not provide a receipt. We didn't notice and even tipped because the food is good. Only notice the overcharge when our friend told us they were overcharged and we recalcuated how much we were suppose to pay. This is ILLEGAL and the restaurant manager should look into this waitress's behavior.
EN: to reply the answer from the restaurant, I am NOT the person you meant, you are talking about two of my friends who were with us and left the last. For the record, the language barrier excuse is false because one of them is german. The waitress overcharged them even more money by asking them to pay for items that are already paid for by other friends who left before. For example we ordered the only Marokko Minztee and paid for them before we left, but my friends somehow got the receipt with Marokko Minztee on it and was asked to pay for it again. I dont write bad review for fun, I only wish to warn other people who eat at this restaurant to ask for the receipt and read it before paying, and now I see how you respond to me and defame my statement as false information, it really seems necessary...)

Read moreIf you’re in Stuttgart and don’t eat at Don Via, you’re seriously missing out! My family and I went here on Saturday at 7pm. IT WAS VERY BUSY so plan accordingly. Our experience started off a bit rocky, as our main server had a bit of an attitude, but the evening completely turned around thanks to the young lady in the headband, black shirt, and mom jeans. She was an absolute star—warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable.
She not only recommended the panzerotti for dessert (which was nothing short of amazing), but she also answered all our questions like she wrote the menu herself. On top of that, she was fluent in Arabic, English, and German, making it so much easier for my Arabic-speaking parents to order and enjoy their meal comfortably.
From exceptional service to incredible food, this was truly a home run of a dining experience with family. Don Via is a must-visit!
Thank you Dima for your outstanding service!...
