It was my first meal in Stuttgart, and it turned out to be a decent experience. We got there after 2pm, so it wasn't too busy as the lunch period was over. The waiter explained that there was free spinach soup on offer, so I had a bowl of that to start, and it was very tasty. A nice surprise considering you don't get much for free these days. For my main I decided to go for a German classic...the meatloaf. It came with a ton of sautéed potatoes with gravy and a perfectly fried egg on top. The meatloaf was basically a giant slice of sausage meat like a frankfurter...it was very tasty and hit the spot. It was filling and kept me full until dinner, and for €13.50 the price was good too. So, if you fancy some classic German pub grub and some of their own beers to try, then definitely give this place a try! The staff were friendly and helpful, even if their English was minimal. Would visit again. :) Easy 5 stars.

Good service and not busy for an Easter Saturday and also great beer. It was hazy for a German helles but was perfect. As was the pale ale which has a little more hop to it. While the Spätzle and Bretzel we had were nice. We saw other people eating other items on the menu that also looked good. Unfortunately, though the burger I had was cheap and cooked well, it was cheap but not too quite the same standard as the other things on the menu, but that doesn't distract from recommending visiting this place over the other options around town.

Went here twice. First in Thursday (6 August 2024) to have our first meal during lunch time. This place is a friend’s favorite and he highly recommend it. Service was excellent, the server was extremely polite and he communicated that the food is going to take longer. At the end of the meal, he gave free cakes because we had to wait a bit longer for the food (which honestly was not that long). I always tips, but it is important to note that server was NEVER ask for any tips or pointing out that bills exclude tips. Went again on Sunday for lunch before we flew back. This was another experience. Our table was place next to a wood column. When serving, the server leaned in front of me (I am a woman) to serve my other half who sat across the table. This made me very uncomfortable. When asked for bill: immediately told us it is not including tips, an attitude that we did not get from the previous server. And to make matters worse, he touched my shoulder while telling us to come back again for another visit and to leave a Google review. I love the place, the food, but definitely did not enjoy the last experience.

Nous réservons dans ce qui nous semble être une brasserie sûre et typique. Accueil plus ou moins sympathique par le maître des lieux. Nous retrouvons tout ce que nous avons vu en photo. Le bar, la belle verrière, la décoration atypique, les bières, la soirée semble s'annoncer sous de très bons auspices. Voilà qu'arrive le serveur très antipathique. Qui nous pousse lors de notre installation pour déposer absolument les cartes aux endroits où lui le désir. Il place d'autorité les sous-bocs où lui le désir également. L'impression que ce monsieur est déjà au bout du rouleau. Nous passons notre commande en allemand. Nous voyons que la personne est vraiment excédée. Il n'y a quasiment personne dans le restaurant. Seul un groupe d'une vingtaine de personnes derrière nous et quelques tables d'autochtone pour boire un verre ou manger un plat. Il est 18h45 ! Le même serveur apporte les bières et nous les balances de manière à ce que nous devions les prendre directement sur le plateau. Il prend la commande de nos trois schnitzel et de nos trois salades. Cela n'a pas l'air de convenir à Monsieur. La schnitzel est tout juste correct, les frites salées comme la rage. La salade verte mix de salade 'fraîche" et de carottes râpées 4e gamme. Des tomates froides (fruits de saison bien entendu) et concombre en décoration. Cela fait joli mais n'apporte aucune valeur ajoutée au plat ou à la salade. Nous mangeons. Nous sommes débarrassés sans un mot par le même individu, il ne nous demande pas si cela c'est bien déroulé ou pas. Nous n'avons eu aucune suggestion de dessert. Nous n'avons eu aucune suggestion de café ou de digestif ni même d'une 3e bière. Par contre quand on arrive à l'addition, comme je ne parle qu'en anglais et pas allemand ce monsieur s'empresse de me dire que le service n'est pas compris et qu'il faut ajouter minimum 20 % au montant de l'addition. Grand bien lui a pris pour lui de nous faire cette démonstration d'arnaque totale : nous sommes également dans la restauration et avons travaillé en France en Belgique au Grand-Duché du Luxembourg en Allemagne où le service est compris... Le pourboire supplémentaire étant à l'appréciation du client s'il veut laisser ce qui s'appelle (par exemple aux États-Unis ou en Angleterre) un "extra tips" (je précise être européen pas américain ). Le service est bel et bien compris en Allemagne. Ce monsieur est non seulement un voleur mais aussi un arnaqueur triplé d'un menteur. Dommage car cette maison mérite certainement une autre réputation. Je suis parti en lui disant exactement le fond de ma pensée et ce que je viens d'écrire noir sur blanc. Longue vie à cette maison qui semble une institution en dormance et qui devrait être au top pourtant. Mais forcément si le personnel se comporte comme cela.....

What a wonderful day #22 Good beer.. I went this place on sunday 27 Nov. I heard that the restaurants and bars here are usually closed on Sundays. I was sad.. but fortunately today there was a football match between Germany and Spain, so many shops were open.. so I came here. .. I really like beer in this bar. I enjoy drinking German beer and cheering the German team.. The result of that day was 1-1. #อิโตอินเลิฟ #ItoInLove

I think I found the the best place in Stuttgart! Just come here and try their amazing beers and food! Staff is really welcoming and will help you with the choice! I tried their Wiener schnitzel , it was probably the best in my life so I definitely recommend it to everyone! The beer is brewed just right here , so you always have it fresh and tasty! So if you here make sure you go there and enjoy!
