Been there with my Thai fiance when in Wuerzburg. The centrally located place is nicely decorated - great atmosphere and friendly service by a Chinese (I think) who also spoke Thai. Menu is extensive and not expensive. We had a som tam thai as starter (8.90, with chicken 9.90) -they used German "Brechbonen" instead of tua fak yao and those wee still frozen, unfortunately. The overall taste was not so bad but this was a bummer (entire dish very very cold). We then had Nuea Kii mao and Muu panaeng, so, a spicier beef dish and a less spicy coconut milk curry. The kii mao surprised with some vegetables you would usually not find in there, but tasted ok and the panaeng was on the bland, almost sweet, side. What was obvious is that they use really cheap ingredients (also the meat). I would prefer to pay a little more for better food and don't shy back from sticking to original thai taste. The fortune cookies were fun but another indicator that this is a Chinese place not a thai one. The service guy was cool and I would go there again for beers (they have Würzburger and also Singha) and maybe a snack but not for dinner. Hence,...
Read moreOur family dinned in during Christmas break, the space is small (hard to find place to hang backpack or jackets), food were ok. We were trying to order desert at the end but the waitress pretended not hear us and gave us check instead. And they only accept cash, no card. After I paid, the owner rushed to force us to leave while my kids were still eating and I didn’t even finish my drink. He was saying there are people waiting to sit in. We told them we are still working on our foods but he told us multiple times to leave. He didn’t tell other tables to leave that have been sitting in longer than us. So this is very interesting as we are from US but we are Chinese which he might think we are easy to talk. This is definitely the first time that happened to us. Very upset experiences and won’t recommend to other visitors due to cash only, not friendly, possible bias...
Read moreThe taste, the atmosphere + the friendly, polite service transported me back to the Land of Smiles - Thailand. Bangkok has an amazing menu full of delicious authentic Thai food dishes.I wanted almost everything on the menu, I had to make some very hard decisions at this casual dining spot. Finally settled on enlivening Som Tam(Papaya salad), Khao Pad Goong( Shrimp fried rice) Pad Kra Pao(Rice stir fried with mince chicken) and Fried spring rolls. Spice factor was a tad mild for us - well it wasn't spicy like flames coming out of your ears kind of hot.😂 To kick it up a notch, we requested for additional cut chilis and chili sauce which they graciously...
