We came with great hopes based on other reviews, but it was very disappointing. Our food was nothing special and both plates came with half rice. You don't go out for ~15 eu vegan plates just to get stuffed full of rice.... I honestly cannot remember what we ordered anymore because all I can remember was the enormous portions of rice. I think I got enchiladas? Whichever thing was supposed to come with both red and green sauce but they ran out of green. My spouse got something that's normally pork because of the novelty of being able to eat it. It was over 40 eu for two entrees and two drinks. Would have been more but they forgot to bring my guacamole order and they were too busy to be bothered to check on us to find out. Speaking of busy, we got one of the last seatings and the place was PACKED and only one person was waiting on all the tables AND making all the drinks. She was very nice, but all too overworked to provide any kind of...

First off, I have eaten here before a few times and it was very good. Yesterday we visited for breakfast at 1100, as soon as they opened and were the first in the door. Unfortunately they were running late and the staff trickled in a little late after 1100 when they opened. Not sure if this contributed to my experience of food poisoning but this is the only thing I ate prior to experiencing VERY bad stomach issues. I hope I am mistaken and will give this restaurant another chance since my previous experiences were positive. Just wanted to let you know to double check your food handling and storage since I believe some components of my meal were not freshly prepared that morning due to the time...

Had the tacos al pastor (3 for €12) and horchata. The mock meat in the tacos looked and somewhat tasted like real meat-based al pastor, but the texture couldn’t be more different as the mock meat was more like hard, dry lumps. I was really hungry, but had trouble eating more than one. The corn tortillas were good, if a little wet, and the salsa was on the skimpy side (just a few tiny, and I mean *tiny* pieces of pineapple). The horchata was kind of meh. It looked and tasted like it wasn’t cooked with the cinnamon stick in the pot with the rice, but just had ground cinnamon sprinkled on top. Total came out to €18. Too bad. At least it was interesting and not another kebab.

What can I say? The most authentic Latin-Mexican-Colombian food in Wiesbaden perhaps even Mainz also! The flavor is so spot on I will be eating here every week because wow, it’s that good!!! I’m not a Vegan but I can enjoy the flavors of this to no end! Simply delicious! I had the Asada Tacos, my husband the enchilada verde and appetizers. I can’t say enough. Service was super friendly, food didn’t rush out of the kitchen but it wasn’t slow either, it was paced at a rate where we could enjoy our drinks for a moment first.

Alebrijes offers fantastic vegan meals. So much so that it can be quite a long waiting time to get a free table. The online reservation system I tried to use was very unreliable - it seemed one could reserve a table at any time regardless of how full the restaurant was. In any case I totally enjoyed my food. However, I must have been one of the last customers for the night. The staff was exhausted and it showed in their attitude and friendliness- very understandable though knowing how busy the place can be.
