I recently visited the newly opened Jamestown Coffeehouse in the AnC mall at East Legon for lunch with my sisters. The new location impressed me, particularly with its charming decor and spacious layout, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Regarding the food, three of us opted for the spicy jerk pork served with kidney bean rice, I requested for mine to be extra spicy. Another person ordered their Warehouse Burger, featuring a beef patty with cheddar cheese and fries on the side.

Personally, I enjoyed the spicy jerk pork and kidney bean rice. While it wasn't as spicy for me, my sisters found it quite spicy. Although I usually avoid onions, they surprisingly complemented the rice well. My only suggestion would be to include a sauce to balance out the dish. The kidney bean rice was a pleasant surprise, it reminded of a milder version of waakye, though I didn't detect much sweetness from the beans as expected.

However, my sister's experience with the burger was disappointing. The bun was dry and falling apart, detracting from the flavors she should have enjoyed.

As for the drinks, the Red Mist fell short of expectations. It was described as beetroot, ginger, and bissap with a unique twist from the usual sobolo, but it turned out quite basic. On the other hand, the green drink, made with cucumber, mint, and pineapple, was enjoyable.

Overall, I appreciated the ambiance of the place and would rate their service 6.5/10. Initially attentive, our waitress seemed overwhelmed as the restaurant filled up, leading us to seek help at the front desk before our food even arrived. Despite this, I would recommend trying out their new spot...

Great spot for brunch with delicious food options and yummy drinks! Try the sobolo sangria! The service is great, and I have to give a special shoutout to Prince, one of the waiters. He’s always so cheerful, attentive, and genuinely makes your visit better. Whether it’s checking on your food, offering a friendly smile, or just making sure you’re taken care of, Prince goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. He’s always ready to help with a positive attitude!

Otherwise, The only downside I’d mention is that the avocado toast isn’t as great as it used to be, but everything else is...

We had a nice family lunch . Staff were friendly and attentive to our needs - we were sitting under the A/C and my son was cold - we requested to move to a different table , they accommodated us instantly. It was great. I liked the view we had of the pool while enjoying brunch . It was such a lovely day out . I found it a bit pricey though . All we ate came up to over 500ghc . We had 2 meals and 3 drinks.spicy pork with rice and beans and French toast combo . On the whole, it was a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend James town coffee...

Good co working space or a place to have meetings. The evenings are less busy than the day which is good if you want peace. The service varied from day to night, better during the day because less overwhelmed I guess but I think there could be a slight improvement in waiters attentiveness as I had to get up myself to go get my bill on both occasions because of a slowness to action. The wings were really good and the garden salad is my favorite salad I’ve had in Ghana simple but full and good quality feta and dressing. I’d go back just for that salad honestly
