I would like to preface this review by saying that this is the first time I have ever felt the need to leave a negative review as I generally give the benefit of the doubt to most businesses but the service myself and my party received at this restaurant was absolutely abysmal.

After waiting a typical couple minutes for a table my group was seated on the patio and things were seemingly off to a reasonably good start. Unfortunately however, midway through our table’s order being taken our waiter left abruptly to tend to something and did not return at any point to finish the order. Instead he began interacting with another table once he returned, seemingly having forgotten about our order. After getting a different waiter to take our order we encountered more difficulties. 2 of the 3 plates came out within a reasonable amount of time and we were told that the third would be 1 minute away. Despite being the same order as one of the other plates and a food that is made in large quantities, it took nearly 10 additional minutes for it to arrive. This wouldn’t have been an issue if we were told something along the lines of “sorry there has been a delay and we will need a few minutes for the next batch to finish”. An additional bonus point was that although our table was only seating 3 guests the 4th spot seemed to be reserved for the menus collected from the other guests with an ever changing stack at the end of the table as they were collected and distributed to other tables. I am sure there is a better solution for this, I have never experienced that before.

While all of this was unfortunate and typically something I would be willing to give the benefit of the doubt to, chalking it up to a bad day the actual food was not overly good, leaving the feeling of strong dissatisfaction with the whole experience. I hope for their sake this was a one off as we decided to come to this place because of the good reviews but overall I was incredibly disappointed with the whole ordeal and actually felt inclined to...

During our last evening in Athens, we explored Little Kook freely and chose a restaurant that caught our attention. After walking into this place, it took us no time to realize it was a terrific choice.

As soon as we stepped into the restaurant, we were immersed in a warm, Greek atmosphere-live music, a small band playing, and a lady singing in Greek. Decor captures the essence of Greece, making the experience even more authentic.

Then came the food, and it was awesome! Tzatziki was top-notch, stuffed vine leaves were tasty (though not particularly unique), but then the real surprises started rolling in. The feta cheese with honey and sesame was amazing, the stuffed peppers and tomatoes were outstanding, and the shrimp in tomato sauce with Bulgarian cheese was great.

Last but not least, we have the moussaka. Oh, the moussaka! Definitely the best I've ever had. It's delicately spiced with a hint of cinnamon and topped with creamy béchamel cheese.

It was the perfect end to our trip, a dinner that left me with only one clear thought—I'm coming back!** Highly recommended!...

I was unlucky with choosing the dish - lamb in oven kleftiko. It's cooked in paper with vegetables and a little potato. Well, you can see on 2nd picture how much leftover I had after - it's fat and paper. Not really much meat inside. Vegetables and potato were tasteless whereas cooked vegetables with meat are usually have taste of meat and spices. Greek salad didn't have oil, just a little, but it's fixable with an oil that is on the table. As for the service. When I came there were a lot of free tables and in 30-40 mins it was mostly full. There are approx 3 waiters and they have some tables split and what was strange is when I asked to pay another waiter nothing happened, he even didn't call my waiter. Another waiter when I called him to ask about forgotten bottle of water just ignored me. And when it came to pay check, I had to refresh with waiter what did I take and then due to his previous table payslip mistakenly entered to pay, pay my table in 2 transactions. Very strange in all directions 🤔 All in all, I wouldn't recommend to visit...
