Stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel round the corner in Leof. Alexandras but didn't fancy paying 40 Euros for breakfast for two. So, tripped out and took a chance on the streets. Found B..Eat at the junction of Alexandra and 28is Octovriou. Coffee was the best we had during our Athens visit (and we tried plenty, including some top places) and quickly became a firm favourite breakfast stop. Food was freshly prepared while we waited, sweet and savoury crepes were to die for, and custom breakfast pannini's fresh and tasty, but get this, the prices are unbelievable (8 - 10 Euros for two ... all-in!!). Staff were warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful to us poor foreigners. Hats Off! A real gem...
Read moreDefinitely the best food in all of Greece. I am sick of the ubiquitous Mouska, squid, gyros and Greek salad that is dished up to tourists. This little place had the most delicious stuffed aubergines, stuffed zucchini, brazed meat in gravy and baked fish. What a delight! I sincerely hope that they will still be there next year.
