From the moment I stepped into this apartment building in Athens, it was clear that every single detail had been meticulously designed with guest comfort and convenience in mind. This isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a space that anticipates your every need, often before you even realize it.
Let’s start with the thoughtful layout and functionality: power sockets and USB outlets are placed exactly where you need them. Lighting design is spot-on, both in ambiance and practicality, from the perfectly positioned spotlight in the work area, to the cozy glow throughout the living space. The ergonomic chair, well-equipped kitchen, and even the super-comfortable bed all add to an experience that feels more like home than a rental.
The TV unit is a standout, with adjustable viewing angles and smart functionality that allows you to cast your own content and customize language settings, a rarity even in high-end accommodations.
They’ve even thought of the little things that often become travel headaches. The washer-dryer combo means you don’t have to run back and forth to do your laundry, just start the cycle, and it takes care of both washing and drying in one go. And best of all: no extra fees per load, making it exceptional value for money.
Fitness enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the on-site gym is fully functional, clean, and equipped for a complete workout, no token treadmills here.
Location-wise, don't be put off by first impressions of the surrounding area, this is simply the character of urban Athens, and it’s safe, central, and well-connected. The metro station is nearby, making getting around the city a breeze. And for sightseeing, the Hop-On Hop-Off bus stops just one street over, a perfect option if you’ve got the 3-day pass, as it brings you back right to your doorstep.
Now, the real heart of this place: the staff. The front desk team is exceptional, warm, and genuinely welcoming. They manage to create an atmosphere where you feel more like a returning friend than a guest. A special mention must go to Nicole, whose professionalism, charm, and attention to detail make her a standout in the hospitality industry. She exemplifies what true guest service looks like, I wouldn't be surprised to see her leading customer relations one day.
In short: I can’t fault this apartment. It’s smart, stylish, supremely comfortable, and supported by a team that clearly cares. I will absolutely...
Read moreAmazing place to stay, highly recommend. Not really a hotel, more a serviced apartment. Check-in was easy, code for front door was sent in advance. The area is not exactly touristy to put it politely and it’s a bit “run down” but it’s only a short walk to the very centre where you can find all the main places to visit. Walking in the area during the day or night is not that pleasant, there are homeless people, drug addicts, etc so keep that in mind. Metro and bus are within easy reach. Reception staff are friendly but not always there, you can reach them by email or phone and they are responsive. Seems quite new or recently refurbished, decor and design is modern and good quality. Many cameras around the building, reassuring but also questioning why needed. Housekeepers are wonderful, only bad thing is they smoke in their “office” and the smell spreads throughout the building via the atrium. Gym is great. Laundry is great, and they even give you detergent (kitchen drawer). Rooms are cleaned everyday, sometimes light and sometimes full. New towels everyday and bedding every second day. Bed is comfortable and sheets are soft, there is a thicker blanket in the wardrobe if needed. Iron and iron board (small) in the room. I borrowed a clothes drier from the laundry to dry my clothes in my room. Kitchen is sufficiently equipped for breakfast or light meal, better to eat out. Coffee machine is great and they give you more capsules each day. Never used the TV or dishwasher. WiFi is fast. Shower is wonderful, always hot water. Sometimes you can hear others in adjacent rooms, the soundproofing isn’t that good, especially if you have a door connecting to another room. Sadly some people don’t observe the Greek quiet hours. Some days I could smell people’s cooking, presumably through the ventilation system. Air conditioning and heating worked well. Window can be opened but it’s very noisy, the streets are always busy and you hear the vehicles and people all day and all night. The roof terrace could be better if there was music maybe, or sun beds, electric sockets etc, seems such a missed opportunity. The views to the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill/ church are incredible especially at night. Supermarket, coffee shops, barbers, pharmacy,...
Read moreLocation - you're an easy walk to some of the main tourist areas however, the area could be a little intimidating and a little run down. However, I had no issues.
Rooms - are good however, for a place where the main selling point was a kitchenette some basics were missing like salt, pepper and oil. We also found an empty bag and half eaten sandwich in our freezer on check-in
Service - mediocre, I was traveling with a friend and WhatsApp the management company 2 days before we traveled asking and confirming that the sofa bed would be made up ready for us to arrive. We turned up around 2300 after traveling all day to find that the sofa bed hadn't been made up and no additional bedding had been left for us to do it ourselves. The sofa bed mattress was also stained and with bits of tape and other things on it showing it hasn't been cleaned recently. This meant that our first night wasn't great having to make up a make shift bedding out of the towels and duvet from the other bed. So one person was on a partial bed and the other was cold due to not having a duvet.
They did fix this the following day however, other than an apology nothing was done to make up for the terrible first night.
All in all, I probably wouldn't stay here again.
Notes : access is keyless using codes provided via email on the day of check-in. There is no manned reception after 7pm so if you don't have data you don't...
