DIFERENTE Mexican — Restaurant in Athens

Bad customer service and bad food. Wouldn't recommend or return to this restaurant.

Was the only customer in the restaurant this evening. Ordered a selection of tapas to sample and received one incorrect dish - gambas al ajillo - when I actually ordered gambas al fuego. Decided to keep the dish as it was already made and I figured it wasn't a big deal.

I was greatly disappointed with the preparation and the freshness of the shrimp. The shrimp were not cleaned properly, had a grttyness to them, and tasted that they had gone bad. Pushed dish aside and tried the other dishes which weren't bad but nothing to write home about.

Then my dining experience took a turn when an emotionally disturbed person (EDP) entered the restaurant and made there way to sit directly next to me (mind you I'm the only customer in the entire restaurant). The person is shouting and causing a big commotion for an unknown reason.

As the person becomes more and more troublesome, I motion the staff (at least three working in the dining area) that I am ready to pay and leave. They see me and acknowledge the situation. I believe that they are fetching the credit card machine but instead they are bringing the EDP different types of coffees and try to reason with them. The staff leaves me next to this person for over 10 minutes. The EDP finally leaves and they come over to take my credit card to charge my dinner. Λοιπόν, μετά την εμπειρία μου εκεί ανυπομονούσα να γράψω κριτική οπότε μόλις επέστρεψα σπίτι κατευθείαν έκατσα μπας και το γράψω και ηρεμήσω. Να πω καταρχάς ότι είναι του Αγίου Βαλεντίνου σήμερα και καθώς δεν είχαμε κανονίσει τίποτα από πριν έψαχνα τελευταία στιγμή να βρω εστιατόριο να πάμε. ΜΈΓΑ ΛΑΘΟΣ. Θα ξέρω καλύτερα την επόμενη φορά ώστε αν δεν κλείσουμε μερες πριν τραπέζι να κάτσουμε στα αυγά μας και να δούμε καμια ρομαντική ταινία να περάσει η ώρα ευχάριστα. Για να τελειώνουμε, έχοντας πάρει τηλέφωνο σε 5 προηγούμενα μαγαζια τα οποία όλα μου έριξαν άκυρο, ακούω από γνωστή μου για το συγκεκριμένο και λέω ας πάρω και εκεί. Είχαν λοιπόν και χαρηκα(δεν έπρεπε! Μόνο και μόνο που ειχαν τραπέζι σήμερα έπρεπε να είχα υποψιαστεί τι θα γίνει), πήγαμε είχε αρκετά τραπέζια άδεια!! Παράγγειλαμε 2 ορεκτικα: τις τυροκροκετες και ένα άλλο με λουκάνικο και παντζάρι και για κύριος επειδή τους είχε τελειώσει ο τόνος πήραμε ένα πιάτο για 2 άτομα με 3 διαφορετικά κρέατα σε στυλ σουβλάκι. Ένα ποτήρι κρασί και μια μπυρα. Πληρώσαμε 40 ευρώ που είναι οκ σαν τιμή αλλά για την ποιότητα ούτε τα μισά. Πρωτα ήρθαν οι τυροκροκετες που ήταν ωραίες αλλά καμία διαφορα από αυτές που σερβίρει το τοπικό σου σουβλατζιδικο. Μετά ήρθε το επόμενο ορεκτικό που πραγματικά ήταν άθλιο. Δεν περιγράφεται απλά το αφήσαμε δεν το φάγαμε όλο ενώ πεινουσαμε. Και μετά περιμέναμε να έρθει το κυρίως. Το οποίο ήρθε 1+ ώρα από την ώρα που παράγγειλαμε. Άθλιο!! 19 ευρώ στην ουσία για 2 καλαμάκια μερικές πατάτες και λίγη σαλάτα. ΠΑΡΑΨΗΜΕΝΑ. Μασαγα Μασαγα και δεν κατέβαινε. Επισυνάπτω σχετική φωτογραφία είχαμε φάει λιγο από το κρέας αλλά μπορείτε να καταλάβετε την ποσότητα. Ήμουν λοιπόν εκνευρισμενη από πριν από άργησε το φαγητό και μετά το αποτέλειωσε το κυρίως(το οποίο τονιζω λένε ότι είναι για 2 άτομα) . Δεν έφαγα πολύ γενικα ήθελα να φύγω εκείνη τη στιγμή και θα ήθελα να τονίσω πριν τελειώσω τη κριτική μου ότι είμαι άτομο που τρώω τα παντα και αν μπορούσα θα έτρωγα κάθε μέρα. Επέστρεψα λοιπόν σπίτι απογοητευμένη στενοχωρημένη και ανικανοποιητη από την όλη εμπειρία και ακόμα και η υπόσχεση να πάμε mcdonalds μετά το φαγητό για πλάκα ώστε να νιώσουμε ότι ευχαριστηθηκαμε φαγητό δεν πραγματοποιήθηκε λόγω της κακής μου διάθεσης.
