A very nice, seemingly vintage coffee shop in Kolonaki. The whole shtick of the place is that it’s a self service type of thing so you first go IN the shop, order up, grab your stuff on a tray and go to your table. They had a variety of nice sandwiches and pastry, coffee, orange juice but there was an absence of soft drinks. The pricing was a bit too Starbucks-y but what i got was very nice. Recommend

Best Coffee Spot in Town! Da Capo is my go-to coffee spot! The coffee is always rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. The staff is friendly and efficient, and they truly know how to make a great cup of coffee. Whether it’s a quick espresso or a leisurely cappuccino, Da Capo never disappoints. Highly recommend!

It was a freezing cold day when i went here to meet some friends here mid May, unseasonably cold. An old school cafe in the up market Kolonaki. I've been when the weather is warmer.and it's much more pleasant. The coffee is good and people watching better Its very busy, with major building works going on all over the place.

Very awkward atmosphere and very rude service experience. The cafe is situated in a busy and sort of "elite" and expensive area. The waiters don't take orders so if you see them hovering they're only there to clean the tables. It's a self service place but the woman at the counter was incredibly rude with a very judgemental look on her face. The coffee was OK, a little bit too light for my liking (i like black coffee) and the price obviously absurd. The cafe has two places of seating. One that is sort of closed off and one directly on the sidewalk. The road isn't very busy but incredibly noisy thanks to the many full cafes in the proximity. I sat on the seats outside on the sidewalk and my table (which was increbibly small) was often visited by pigeons. I'm an animal friendly guy but Athen's pigeons are incredibly dirty creatures. The waiters tried to shoo the away but their flying only made things worse and a lot of dirt ended up in my coffee. I'm conclusion, the area and the atmosphere is very awkward, the staff as well plus some of them were Incredibly rude. This was not a...

Two days ago I went for a piece of cake at Da Capo in Kolonaki, the server asked me if it’s take away, I said dine in. He then told me it was self service. So I took my cake and sat at one of their tables. The waiter approached me and told me I was not allowed to sit. I asked them why? He told me “you only took a piece of cake” I find it so disappointing the way they class people from what they will eat or not. Not acceptable for the most touristic coffee places in the center of Athens.. lack of professionalism! If you are in Athens there are so many other coffee places with lovely service like Me-kolonaki...

Sure, you can go for great coffee once it's past lunch time only to be rudely - kicked out by both the staff and the responsible of the staff / guy behind the counter just because its lunchtime and even though there were many empty tables and many others (probably known to the staff) could seat down and enjoy their espresso without a problem... There are many things money can buy, but kindness is a quality of character and after many years of going there I'm glad I'm finally learning (first hand) that that the staff there have no quality of character whatsoever...So...
