THE APIVITA EXPERIENCE STORE — Local services in Athens

Wonderful concept and one of my favorite stores in Athens! I would note however, and strongly urge Apivita to more firmly commit to strengthening their environmental standards as a company that is so obviously aligned with a more natural, eco-friendly philosophy: specifically: 1) do not use disposable straws in the smoothie bar, it is a criminal waste! 2) serve smoothies either in glasses or in take-away containers that are brought by customers (you can offer a small discount as an incentive to customers) and discontinue use of the plastic covers placed on the paper smoothie cups 3)set up a scheme whereby customers can return their plastic packaged shampoos, body lotions, creams etc...once they have finished with the product and commit to recycling those containers (see the policy of Lush cosmetics as an example) 4)allow/incentivize customers to bring back and re-fill their glass face-cream pots 5)discontinue the packaging of tea bags in one-use plastic; instead opt to have the tea bags or loose-leaf tea in the little box without packaging. Huge place but products are only at level 1. They sell face and body products mainly. Wanted to try the cold-pressed juice but there wasn't anyone manning it. When enquired about the sachets of face masks and wash, staff told me it was 2.88 euros per piece but ended up every item has different prices and the person did not inform me of the prices for those two I have on hand and I assumed at least one is 2.88 but they are not.

No tea is served upon entering as well, it's all self service. Overall don't feel that I was being treated well despite it being a huge store and I was prepared to purchase some items. Decided not...

This review is for the spa experience. The staff were very friendly. They were booked 2-3 months out but happen to have the last appointment available on the second day My massage therapist Christina (hope I got her name right) took good care of me. They have a shower in the massage room with their products. The full body massage is truly from top to toe, with oil on your skin. I've been walking so much so a lot of tension was building up on my calf and feet. I felt like I had two new legs after the message. Lol And my skin felt soft and amazing. Highly recommend if you need a treat...
