Massimo Dutti — Local services in Athens

2 stars just because it’s Massimo Dutti and I have a big respect to this brand. My experience wasn’t pleasant. Starting from the entry. I have asked for an item - the employee happily helped me and said that it will come from the storage but the item never came to me (I went to the second floor which I have informed this lady). Second thing:there were 2 people on the floor and 4 customers, + me and another lady in the dressing rooms. Before I went to the dressing room, I was picking my items. I wasn’t sure in one sizing of a Jean and I have asked employee to help me take it from the display, and in a bit I’ve received such a interesting sentence: “mam, you can have only 5 items”, and that she would bring me a smaller size if this would not fit me. I was surprised and shocked because NEVER EVER this has happened to me in this store worldwide. I said “okay” and went to the dressing room. When pants didn’t fit me well I tried to seek for help of an employee (which you normally have by the counter at the dressing room) - no luck. Had to dress up and go out and look for help at the floor. After that I was not in the mood because you are coming to Massimo Dutti for an experience which I haven’t received. I’ve asked employee later on since when does the store has 5 items rule to which employee called another person to answer. This person couldn’t form a firm sentence in which ,I assumed, she meant that they had to many people in the store and that’s why they have to limit the rack takes. Again, I repeat, 4 customers on the floor, 2 in the dressing room and 2 + 1 (was coming up and down) employees on the floor. Next thing, it was dirty in the dressing rooms and in the hallway. A real mixed bag here. Good, inexpensive designs with a broad selection. Unfortunately, the men’s level three assistant was exceptionally rude and dismissive of us and spent her entire time chatting to the security guard instead of helping us to select more clothing. Luckily my eight-year-old daughter was able to navigate the store and find the clothes that I needed while she attended to her security needs. The rest of the staff were reasonably polite. Another failure here in Greece to understand the necessity of the tourist dollar. PS it has been a while since I’ve been stared at by another woman with such disdain...

Ήμουν εξαιρετικά ευχαριστημένη από το κατάστημα Κολωνακίου, όπως και γενικά από τα προϊόντα MD χρόνια τώρα, πριν την ανακαίνιση. Δυστυχώς, ενώ περιμέναμε με ανυπομονησία κάτι ακόμα καλύτερο, απογοητευτήκαμε.

Η διαρρύθμιση, ειδικά στους επάνω ορόφους, δημιουργεί κλειστοφοβία και είναι εξαιρετικά ασύμβατη με τις ανάγκες του πελάτη, (π.χ. ταμείο στον 1ο όροφο, ενώ υπάρχουν προϊόντα και στον 3ο και στον 1ο, πράγμα το οποίο σε αναγκάζει να ανεβοκατεβαίνεις για να πληρώσεις). Το κατάστημα φαίνεται άδειο και με λιγότερα προϊόντα.

Το πιο απογοητευτικό ωστόσο είναι η αδιαφορία ορισμένων υπαλλήλων στο ταμείο. Τους/τις πέτυχα σε μια μέρα που χάλαγε προφανώς συνέχεια η σύνδεση της ταμειακής με το pos, με είχαν και περίμενα να πληρώσω, χωρίς να κινητοποιούν κανέναν υπεύθυνο να τη δει, χωρίς καμία συγγνώμη για την καθυστέρηση, ενώ παράλληλα μία από τις πωλήτριες ασχολιόταν μπροστά μου με το προσωπικό κινητό της, αδιαφορώντας παντελώς. Όταν αποκαταστάθηκε η βλάβη, με χρέωσαν 10 ευρώ παραπάνω για το προϊόν και όταν το κατάλαβα και τους το είπα, η συμπεριφορά ήταν τόσο ψυχρή κι αδιάφορη, λες και τις ενοχλούσα. Μου έκαναν την αλλαγή χωρίς ΜΙΑ συγγνώμη κι ούτε ΕΝΑ ευχαριστώ! Ίσως, στην όποια (και αν) εκπαίδευση λαμβάνουν από την εταιρεία MD, θα πρέπει να μαθαίνουν πάνω από όλα τι σημαίνει ευγένεια! Ευτυχώς, τα ρούχα με βολεύουν πολύ, κι είναι ο μόνος λόγος για το δεύτερο ατέρι στο κατάστημα Κολωνακίου. Και για να παίρνω τον χρόνο να γράψω τη γνώμη μου, σημαίνει ότι πραγματικά απογοητεύτηκα. Αλλά επειδή αυτή είναι κι η δύναμη του καταναλωτή, λάβετέ το υπόψη σας: κατεβάστε το ταμείο κοντά στην έξοδο, ώστε ο πελάτης να έχει ολοκληρώσει τις αγορές του και εκπαιδεύστε το προσωπικό για τους τρόπους.
