Absolutely horrible experience best described as reheated from a previous day Beef lemonato with potatoes. It was disgusting and tasteless. The Greek Salad was warm, not even cold! Yuck! When I told the waiter discretely that I won’t be paying for this beef lemonato and to take it off the bill, he offered another alternative and after I politely declined he said don’t worry, they’ll take it off. He was great, not a problem. When we attempted to pay for the rest of the food, the female waitress approached, we noticed the meal was still on the bill. We explained the situation outside the restaurant where customers are dining and she was intent on making a scene. She says, you shouldn’t have spoken to the waiter because he is the assistant, you should have come to me because I’m the manager, as if we’re supposed to know. Perhaps if that were the case she should slap a big sticker on her forehead stating ‘MGR’! My family and I have spent at least 2 years in the last 10 in this country and I can say I’ve never declined to pay for a meal, that’s how terrible this was. Absolute tourist trap!!

We read good google reviews and came on a Friday evening for our last meal in Athens. It does not have any special view, and by the time we came all the fish had sold out. But the flavors were fantastic. We ordered squid, shrimp in tomato, ouzo and feta sauce, tzatziki, slowed cooked beef with rice and sauce, and Greek salad. We made a reservation and I suggest that, especially if you want to eat outside. Come earlier if you want to be guaranteed fish. We were there on a Friday at 9:00 PM and that was too late. So much sold out already on their limited menu (which I view as a strength). The shrimp dish only had 5 pieces of shrimp- not sure if that’s normal or b/c we were foreigners. The tzatiki was very garlicky and a bit spicy as a result and I loved it! The server said that’s the way Greeks like it- not the flavorless version that is served to tourists. I highly recommend. No view, nothing fancy, but so tasty.

Under average experience. Went there cause of good reviews, but was nothing special/just overrated. Mousaka 10,30€ (most expansive i have seen so far) normal size, average taste- spices where missing, nothing special although i saw plenty people ordering it (maybe read the same tourist travel site). Location: not very nice, next to tiny but busy street (plenty of cars eveb in off season). Service: not unfriendly but no smile at all. It was crowded, but nevertheless some greek friendlyness would be nice. First time we got the bill put on the table without asking for. We didnt eat slow at all, cause we were hungy, but had still some of our 2. Pint of wine in our classes. Think they wanted the table for next customers. Taramasalad wasnt like others we had in Greece, not bad but not like TS... Wouldnt come back, there are much nicer places in Athen.

After a bit of deliberation, I convinced my family to look past the slightly daunting facade (a parking garage as a neighbor) and to eat here for dinner. It was delicious! The waitress was so kind and spoke perfect English, and the cook came out and said hello to us. We sat outside, and albeit being a pretty big group (6) had a ton of space and no issues seating wise. The food was amazing- we got the lamb chops, pork steak, pork souvlaki, fish filet, fava, baked chickpeas, Greek salad, and seafood risotto. For dessert the baklava and some kind of pastry cake with a cream inside. We also got ouzo and red wine. Everything was amazing, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it! The customers were a mix of locals and in-the-know tourists, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Come visit Evgenia if you want an authentic meal, great food, and a lovely dinner experience with kind staff! Highly...
