After we ate the nice food the restaurant offered, we decided to play a round of magic the gathering quietly on our table. Promptly we were told what we are doing is "not right" and when asked we got no awnser. Confused I went to ask what they mean as I was told the owner dosent allow it, i asked if I can talk to him to ask what's wrong and After doing so, we were told that gambling isn't allowed and we should go to a coffee shop to do that, he was incompetent to my explanation that its a harmless board game and they didn't even let us finish the round as we were told to leave on the spot to not ruin the reputation of the shop during Christmas times.
We payed around 50€ for the table and we were recurring customers for a year, we always went there and got a few dishes to celebrate different occasions and to quietly play the boardgame. The servers and the food are very nice but the management is unreasonable. We won't be going there again just to be discriminated..
Edit 1: politely is a stretch, from a smug lady passing by and throwing passive aggressive comments like "What you are doing if wrong" snd "you should be ashamed at yourselves" to the owner that told me on the phone that I'm equivalent to gamblers that are ruining Christmas and that I should come back without that thing because the money I spent is valuable for them. I want to believe I'm a reasonable person and I wouldn't mind listening right away without any confrontation if I was in a politely and private manner that this is not allowed instead of loudly announcing that I should be ashamed to the entire store as I was quietly enjoying my evening without...
Read moreThey will bamboozle you here!!! They get you in the door by saying there's a deal on some great sushi and online the ratings are great so you believe them. However, as soon as you sit down they automatically pour you water that costs 4 euros when there is an option for free water that they don't mention. After you get swindled on the water, the problem really comes when you try to order. They advertise that on Monday-Thursday there's a 30 piece sushi for 15 euros. However the actually truth is the special is only on Monday and Thursday. If you happen to come on Monday and Thursday and think you've lucked out on a fantastic deal, I'm sad to be the one to say that you're about to be swindled. The server, who takes FOREVER, will tell you that you can get two maki rolls, two inside out rolls and two nigriri. Sounds good right? WRONG. You order the sushi you want to satisfy the combo. The food comes out and the sushi is ehh but you think it's good enough for 15 euros. Then the bill comes and that's where the swindling begins. They charge you for every maki, inside out rolls, and nigriri you ordered. In addition to that they charge you for the combo, which is apparently its own fix menu, something that wasn't communicated at all. After you try to explain it, the server tries to blame the misunderstanding on you!! Even though at no point did she ever say the combo was a set menu or try to warn you that what your ordering is outside of the combo. Will never go back and neither should any other foreigner unless they want okay sushi and to...
Read moreI am a loyal customer both ordering and in the shop. I know the Korean woman working there and she’s amazing I’ve always had a good time there. The problem are the orders lately. After the new year I ordered and the portion sizes have more or less halved. The food quality has decreased and I am sure it’s the owner’s fault. I have the utmost respect for the workers and the sushi chef, the food was always very good until recently. If I pay 14€ for spicy pork at least I expect it to be big like before not whatever you’ve done lately which made the portions smaller. Personally, I will only dine in from now on because paying so much for the delivery to not be good and the portions being small is just not worth it anymore. I will give it a last chance for dine in but if I notice the same problem I will never eat from them again. I understand times are hard and materials are expensive but doing the math for a pork portion with rice, 14€ is a lot at least I expect the portion size to be decent. Even the tteokbokki is less than before the casserole is half empty nowadays before it was up to the lid. I hope they change back to the old ways again before it’s too late and lose the trust of their customers. Have a...
