Sorolop — Restaurant in Athens

I dont have a picture of the place to post at the moment. It is one of the best spots for sweets in the centre and probably the best in Exarchia, especially if you take into account that is open opens till late in the evening. Their "profiterol" is famous for its taste. Their icecream selection is wide and 1st class - with chocolate sorbet being my personal favourite. But what I love this place the most are the little cakes "tsoureki" which are available in different versions- with raisins, chocolate chips, vegan or regular. I definitely recommend it. The prices are not on the cheap side but the quality...

Είμαι τακτικός πελάτης. Σε αυτές τις Γιορτές επισκέφτηκα και πάλι πολλές φορές το Σορολόπ. Όλες ανεξαιρέτως τα γλυκά του ήταν πάρα πολύ καλά (πήρα προφιτερόλ και τσουρέκι), όπως πάντα. Φτιάχνουν τρία πράγματα (προφιτερόλ, τσουρέκι, παγωτό) και τα φτιάχνουν όλα πολύ καλά. Οι άνθρωποί του ήταν μια χαρά ευγενικοί και εξυπηρετικοί και χαμογελαστοί, επίσης όπως πάντα. Τις "κριτικές" που διαβάζω εδώ πέρα περί "κακής συμπεριφοράς", "αγένειας" κλπ. τις βρίσκω εκτός πραγματικότητας, κακόβουλες και με πονηρεύουν λίγο. Όλους μας οι ίδιοι άνθρωποι μας εξυπηρετούν, δε γίνεται κάποιοι να τους πετυχαίνετε πάντα "αγενείς" κι εμείς που έχουμε πάει δεκάδες φορές να μην τους έχουμε πετύχει ποτέ έτσι.

I am a regular customer. During these Holidays I visited Sorolop again several times. All of their products were very good, without exception (I got profiterole and tsoureki many times), as always. They are mainly selling three types of products (profiterole, tsoureki and ice cream) and all of them are of very good quality. Sorolop's people were very kind, helpful and smiling, also as always. I find the "reviews" I read here mentioning "bad behavior", "rudeness" etc. out of reality, malevolent and they make me a little suspicious. All of us are served by the same persons, it's not possible that some of you always find them in a "rude" mood and people like me, who have been there dozens of times, always...
