As we strolled through Athens, we stumbled upon the vibrant Central Market, bustling with fresh meat and fish. Naturally, we looked for a nearby restaurant—and just a few minutes away, we found Taverna Aris.

From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality stood out. Our host, Ceasar, greeted us with a big smile and positive energy that truly made us feel welcome.

We ordered the Grilled Red Mullet and Fried Anchovies, both incredibly fresh and delicious—undoubtedly sourced straight from the market nearby.

To top it off, they surprised our daughter with a lovely complimentary dessert “on the house,” a sweet gesture that made the experience even more special.
